Okay I'll bite... At the Easter Boogie at Carolina Skysports some 3 or 4 years ago. I was doing 8-ways. Our 8-ways were floating over the freeflyers in freefall. I was tracking with open canopies 2000 ft. directly below me. We told Paul, but Paul was catering to the newer market of freeflyers at the time. He told us "Your opinion doesn't count!" So much for dealing with him in person. This after hearing he had already had an incident of someone tracking through the lines of an open canopy within that year. Fayard's role in safety, BULLSHIT. Your claim BULLSHIT... His poor judgement has become one of the things I recant at safety day every year... If find it much more offensive to see someone unconditionally buttering the backside of a DZO, than revealing a bankruptcy report... regards, Jon death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

Been listening to a lot of System of a Down lately. Diverdriver's selection is nice, I might pop some Ministry in for the first time in years... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

I keep my stow size down to 2" - 1 1/2" for neatness reasons ( I have a Xaos). If one of those large stows gets one line around another, you've gotta bag lock. Food for thought... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

You can always refer to the 2003 SIM. There is a section devoted to camera in it... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

I am realizing now that I was a bit on the tired side when I wrote this pole... Too my credit I had done a reserve inpection/repack and installed the still mount. Apparently my better faculties were drained in the projects. On the snagadelic side... I can't eliminate all the snags with a still mount. So, I just wanted to keep them in front where I can see them. Let's not be snaggle-pusses now. I'll post some more pics after I am finished with the side mount. Then everyone can have a free-for-all snagfest... thanks for playing, Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

Wow, I say we get together a coalition. Burnin's to good for hum, Hangin's to good for hum, he needs to be torn up in too itty bitty pieces and buried alive... -Hixxx p.s. was it the 90 or 96? and did it spin up? death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

So I was thinking... If it is called tread plate alluminum, why not have a footprint on top of the old helmet (thank you chicago skydiver). Actually, I had to redo the mount cause it was was off level with a slope. I wanted to chuck a little weight in the process, this is what I came up with... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

I'm with Skygod7777 on this one. I make a pyramid with my s-folds under the midflap, so the last few are maybe a half inch under. I also put a little more than a meter under the pc cap. Everytime I pop it, it shoots across the room... I did find one rig without the required meter under the pop top, it did not launch very well at all with the bridle catching in the midflap. Still, it would have deployed, but it wouldn't have cleared the burble as quickly as one packed correctly. -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

I would like to amend that comment to "Fucker". He is just a Fucker and Stupid Fucker at that. You simply don't ignore your International Friends and go wacking people to line your pockets. I mean, Hussein needs to be removed, but not by alienating all our friends in the process. I really think Bush's manifest intention is a better economy and the oil industry, while latent intention is removing Hussein. Stupid Fucker... I think the flag should hang upside down and backwards at the White House as a true reflection of the current admin... Wow, I've got my First Amendment all hard and pulsating xxx, Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

If you need the width of the plate to protect the camera keep it. I would only trim it back to match the camera. This way there is enough to protect it from a riser strike on the bottom, but it doesn't protrude such that it rip somebody open in a collision. -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

It looks much improved. You may be able to get away with filling your gaps with gaffer's tape. Once you have taped it up, try dragging canopy lines over it and see if the catch anywhere. I would try trimming back the bottom plate, so it is only as wide as you need it for the camera base. -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

They insist on the Javelin because "it's the best" - and somehow they know this without ever jumping anything else. *** I've noticed the same thing with Javelin fans. I also here criticisms of Wings as Javelin "spin-offs". The fact is, it is a spin off done by the original Javelin designer with all of his new innovations. I think of it as a more up to date Javelin for newer faster forms of skydiving i.e. better bridle protection, TSO23d from the start, stronger p/c spring. Perhaps we should call Javelins antiquated Wings... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

I am currently a Wings owner that repacks Javelins and owned a G3. I find the workmanship on the Mirage second only to RWS, though the company is run a bit on the Mickey Mouse side of things. The main reason I gave up my G3 was that the company was inflexible and hard to deal with. By comparison, I find the overall riser/pin protection and durability is better, plus there is a hellasish spring on the reserve p/c. If someone collides with my rig, I'd rather have the G3 on. The Odyssey is more comfortable from what I have heard and comes in lots of pretty fabrics. As a rigger, it is an easier packjob than a Mirage. I am not sold on the chest rigs though. With every Odyssey I tried on, the main lift web contorts 90 degrees from chest ring to hip ring, which gives me bad juju. The Javelin is so incredibly popular I don't think the rig owners are really looking at how they are built or work. It is an incredibly successful design, but I think the overall conception of the rig is ageing a bit... I was also ignored by this company when I called with an important rigging question, so they lost points there... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
