  1. It is a moot point with our student gear. They all have SOS handles. -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

  4. Anybody had any trouble with theirs? I got down from a jump this weekend and played back my video, no problem. I went back to my camera an hour later to play it again and the play function wouldn't work in VCR mode. I would get the blue screen with the play icon and I could hear the motor running, but no video or audio. The work order has already been filed with Sony, I am just wondering if anyone one else has had reliability problems with their pc110. thanx, Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
  5. Congratulations! I missed you at Gold Coast last Sunday. Good thing you didn't come out, it was a tad windy with a pretty low ceiling. Too scary for me at an unfamiliar DZ.. -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

Man I saw much more dangerous low pulling from the guys in BASE gear with the tape I watched. I am suprised that this even attracted attention with as high as he was under canopy. Granted, if he wouldn't have kicked out of the line twists he would have been tree food. By free bagging, do you mean canopy in hand??? -Hixxx P.S. I took poetic license in using the two Ks... death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

I saw video of a guy hand deploying an FX84 off of the bridge yesterday. It looked like the slider was down and the lines were looped in rubber bands to take up a little slack and he was holding it in his right hand propacked (without the accordion fold) and without a pilot chute. He jumped, kicked out of some line twists, then did a 360 swoop down river. Anyone know this fellow or have any more details on how he did it? It was pretty freakin wild... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

  10. Yes, my nickname was cleverly given to me by an 8 yr old! That's because you've never seen dorky, awkward girls like me trying to do it! *** Oh, but your numbers are much greater than you think... We refer to it in male circles as girls with internal music (cause they are way off the beat). Nonetheless, you are brave for the effort. I have accepted my whiteness by not dancing unless being shot at or burned. -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

  12. Well, one thing is for sure. Ballerina butts are the best! I had a ballerina friend for many years and her butt had hypnotic powers. So perfect, scientist callibrated their instruments on it. Further, it rhymes. Vallerina the Ballerina... As far as sensuality goes, you can't lose with anything latin... On the topic of hip hop/funk/house. Nobody looks cool in bars anyway, just drunk. 14. I used to smoke about a pack and a half a day of Marlboros. I started when I was 13. Then at the ripe old age of 22 suffering from alcoholism, Cocaine addiction and chronic marijuana use. This emaciated 130 lb skeleton of a man checked into a hospital afraid of the ensuing jail sentence of the DWI, leaving the scene and serious bodily injury charges levied against me from an accident. Addicts are amazing at destroying their bodies, so there was barrage of testing done to check my progress. the respiratory test, which took 5 tries to get a reading, revealed that I had lost at least 10 percent of each lung and had chronic bronchitis. If I continued and lost 5 percent more, I would be on a O2 bottle with Emphysema by 25 or so. Of all the copious amounts of illicit chemicals I had injested in some form or another, since the age of 12. It was the perfectly legal chemicals in cigarettes that were going to kill me first. My last cigarette was September 22nd of 1990. One year after my last drink September 18th 1989, which I had for breakfast on the way to the hospital. I am 35 now and my son is 4 and I probably wouldn't have gotten into the sport at 29. I am glad that I switched to the no-filter candy cigarettes, less-tar more life and skydives
  15. I eat candy cigarettes by the box

  18. Personally I like 16:9 myself *** Yah, what he said
  19. I too am a DVD snob or more aptly a widescreen snob. I insist on watching movies in the original 6:9 ratio, which is usually only available on DVD... You take a movie like American Beauty that has incredible cinematography and art direction and it is slaughtered when it is formatted for regular TV. It simply demands the widescreen format. -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
  20. I have a regular profile small handle with a loop cutaway. I didn't want to fumble around with a pillow in the event of a spinning mal, just hook a thumb and make it go away... I figure making junk go away promptly is of a higher order than an incidental cutaway from a freefall collision. Instant no canopy is easier to deal with than grab and peel while being swung out against the horizon by spinning possessed shit. I am probably going to swap out the reserve handle for a pillow though for snaggability reasons. It will be an easy pull under no load but the pin... Also, you may want to put a swedge on the cables of your cutaway. That way they cannot migrate around changing the lengths on each side, which can happen in time... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
  21. My understanding is RAM and drive speed are important. I have an 80 GB 7200 rpm firewire drive dedicated to video storage. My system is a 1.1 GB Pentium with 512k RAM. However, I am running Premiere which is more resource intensive than Pinnacle... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
  22. I am going to be jumping my Xaos in a couple of weeks coming back from knee surgery. It has been late October since I jumped it last. I am staying under the same wing, because it is the one I am most familiar with. What I probably will change is my approach to a 90 instead of the regular 270 until I feel dialed in again... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
  23. I use it on my main (Xaos). It really still is a propack, just a different way of bagging it. I prefer it because I can keep better tension and symmetry in the line groups than when I propack. I also think I pack faster with this method. I highly recommend a bridle extension for this... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

  25. It was my first contact with a major DZO. I'll never forget his words... They made and indelible impression on a young skydiver. I would have returned to the boogie every year, if it wasn't for that. My impression was that the guy was a hot head. I couldn't believe the guy didn't care about our safety after having the piss scared out of us like that... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
