  1. What did he write in his PM for you to give him such a ignorant and arrogant reply? He sounds like a newbie very excited about jumping. You sound like a skygod(not in the good sense). If you can't read between the lines. I am sorry. how can it be possible that someone with 3 years in the sport and 100+ jumps not know what it cost to have a main packed at the DZ. this guy is nothing more than a troll, and if you can't figure that out, I AM SORRY So it wasn't what he said, it's what you thought he meant to say. Gotcha. Yes, you are sorry. I guess you missed the part where he said
  2. You go into this rant because of a couple of posters on this relatively obscure website? Wow. Step back from the computer and take a vacation. You would probably do better than others but that's only because if you encountered any bad guys, you just nag them to death.
  3. maybe we can get back to the OP topic??? I think 99.9 percent would agree those wrinkles are a non issue. Not according to vb. If you have wrinkles, the gear sucks and would probably cause serious problems.

  5. Very relevant and factual. You are so funny when you try to defend these scumbags. I doubt you are going to convince anyone here otherwise. The way you defend them makes it sound like you are on their payroll. If so, how much is your cut?
  6. Yeah, take that, you non typing guy! You've got him on the run now, sxc.
  7. +1 I can't stand jumpers that believe skydiving makes them a superior human being. Take a step down off your high horse. I have ran into many newbies that have this same impression about skydiving. Somehow it makes you faster, stronger, smarter than the average Joe. There is nothing special about a person that skydives that would make them superior to anyone else just because they skydive. As with all newbies, if he continues to jump, he will see things differently eventually.
  8. Your answer. So if you are born into a skydiving family, that counts as time in sport. I did read that(first 16 years of my life) but I doubt he was packing from day 1 of his life, hence the question.
  9. The only options on the PD website for a comp Velocity are 300 and 500 HMA.
  10. Dave, No offense, but that sounds a lot like telling a whuffo: "Hey, don't bother paying an AFF Instructor to learn how to skydive - just hook up with a recent AFF graduate!" As with all analogies, this isn't even close to good. There is a big difference learning from an AFF-I than learning from a recent AFF grad student.
  11. You made your first jump in 1984 but you've been in the sport for 42 years? Just curious.
  12. Why would you think they need to be replaced at 100 jumps? You can get a comp Velocity with 300 or 500 HMA.
  13. ? Not many places? I have easily gotten more than 10 jumps in a weekend at a Cessna dropzone in the past. As you get more experience I think you will find it's not difficult to get that many jumps in a weekend.
  14. The government opening manufacturing facilities? I didn't know that the government was in the manufacturing business. To manufacture what? If there was a great need for some product now, the private sector would already be doing it. Yes, I would rather the country relive the great depression. I have an idea. Lets have the government spend tons of money on a manufacturing facility making products that aren't needed. Maybe open a factory that was closed down due to no one buying their product. Since I didn't vote for McCain last election, which side would that be? (Why do I bother)

  17. Did you expect anything different from our NEA controlled public schools? Indoctrination for sure. Sooner or later someone will uncover a memo encouraging the practice. Most likely Glenn Beck's White House mouse. School policies are NOT set by teachers. But some ideas/ideals/subjects that teachers speak to their class about are not school policies. School policies can not control everything a teacher says to their class.
  18. I use to have a Suunto Vector and I had to re-zero it every time I got to the ground. Sometimes it would be off zero by as much as 200 feet or more. The accuracy may be "close enough" but nothing close to an actual digital skydiving altimeter.
  19. That's funny. I think Ted said something similar. R.I.P. Ted.

You know Andy if all those posts were shit that I put out you'ld think I would have dropped a pantsize or two by now! Thing of it is, it's all Truth! Well most of it ,sometimes I have to just try and get y'alls' goat! White folk sure are uptight and blind . Lots of times the just don't want to see the truth and when they do.., they don't want to acknowledge it.., even when they know that * that there is the truth*!!! I'm thinking of changing my screen name. If I can figure out how to do it I won't use my given name anymore . I think I'll post as "2 Much Truth". Blues, Cliff OH Yeah!!! PS: Here's one link which supports my claim on this thread. http://blogs.reuters.com/global/2009/08/13/who-is-funding-the-afghan-taliban-you-dont-want-to-know "less than half of the Taliban’s war chest comes from poppy, with a variety of sources, including private contributions from Persian Gulf states, accounting for much of the rest."
  21. Wasn't part of his audience Obama for many years?
  22. Wow. Cliff is in fine form tonight!! Yes he is. His arguments and rebuttals are becoming more and more pathetic as time goes by. But they are funny to read.
