The difference lies in 9/11. The extremists are making it very difficult to identify the enemy. They hide amongst the more peaceful muslims and only expose themselves long enough to perform the cowardly acts of terror. My personal problem is I haven't been able to identify an instance where the extremists were outed by the more peaceful people. If you're truly a muslim then you are the only ones who can clean up your religion by not harboring the extemists. Good luck with that. Until then I say we keep the weapons warmed up and close by.
