Reagan For their roles in the Iran-Contra Affair Elliott Abrams Duane Clarridge Clair George Alan D. Fiers Robert C. McFarlane – National Security Adviser Caspar Weinberger – Secretary of Defense Bill Clinton Roger Clinton, Jr. – brother of Bill Clinton. After serving a year in federal prison for cocaine possession. Susan McDougal – partners with Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton in the failed Whitewater deal. Guilty of contempt of court, she served her entire sentence and was then pardoned. FALN – commuted the sentences of 16 members of FALN, a violent Puerto Rican terrorist group that set off 120 bombs in the United States, mostly in New York City and Chicago. The 16 were convicted of conspiracy and sedition and sentenced with terms ranging from 35 to 105 years in prison. W Lewis "Scooter" Libby – Assistant to President George W. Bush and Chief of Staff to Dick Cheney was convicted of perjury in connection with the CIA leak scandal involving members of State Department who 'outed' CIA agent Valerie Plame. Libby received commutation, not a full pardon. There's a start... Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

Well...there are many last week or last day pardons that come to mind. Imagine if the courts could enact legislation or the congress could perform some of the exclusive presidential responsibilities. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

I've felt this way for awhile now. Pardons and clemency by the POTUS in general. If you add in the ability of governors to do the same it's an overreach of power and open to corruption. Is there anything like this in Canada? Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

While you all are railing aginst the Electoral College I'll suggest that the article in the US Constitution that sets up the EC also allows the POTUS to issue pardons and clemency. I think of the 2 parts I'd like to see this changed. Seems odd the President is allowed to override the judicial branch. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

What play book are you using to promote understanding when you say this?: ***Thank you Electoral College so I don't have to listen to 4 years of that skank! I wouldn't even begin to try and tell you that I'm from the party of understanding. I'm not...I know it...I have no problem with it. I'm pragmatic. Sometimes it's cruel to be kind. No misogyny there. None at all. Misogyny dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women. Prejudice preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Swing and a miss. Thanks for playing Skank Derogatory term for a (usually younger) female, implying trashiness or tackiness, lower-class status, poor hygiene, flakiness, and a scrawny, pockmarked sort of ugliness. May also imply promiscuity, but not necessarily. Can apply to any race, but most commonly used to describe white trash. You know that girl Crystal that lives in the trailer park? She's a total skank. It might be derogatory but it's not misogynistic. Thanks for clearing that up. I see you are continuing the left playbook by throwing around words like misogynist, racist, narcissist, and whatever "ist" label fits your viewpoint. All the while holding yourselves out as the people who promote understanding and harmony. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

Should also note that Tom Price is a member of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS). Sounds pretty fancy doesn't it? Not everything is always as it seems. AAPS is against vaccines and blames them for autism. Its statement of principles includes that it is evil and immoral for a doctor to participate in Medicare or Medicaid. It opines that electronic medical records are a form of data control similar to that employed by the East German secret police. An article on their website speculates Obama may have one the election by hypnotizing voters, especially those people susceptible to neurolinguistic programming. That would be young people. educated people and possibly Jews. AAPS believes "shaken baby syndrome" is a misdiagnosis for vaccine injury. AAPS blames immigrants for crime and disease. AAPS believes abortion causes breast cancer. AAPS believes that doctors should overrule evidence based medicine since that science confronts with the godlike status of a doctor. He is going to set some wonderful policy, the best policy. Not sure where you got all of that info. I couldn't find it on their site. http://aapsonline.org/ Please don't dent the planet. You are correct. Health insurance is broken here. Many ACA folks with $5,000.00+ deductibles who think they have health insurance, might as well have a $5,000,000.00 deductible because they haven't seen 5 grand in one place in their lives. The only reason they even bought insurance this year is due to the penalty they paid on last year's tax return. In 5 years we'll have a whole new set of folks whose lives are in turmoil because they were forced to buy shitty insurance. I'm having a cervical neck fusion this month (while my deductible is paid for the year). As part of the recovery I have to wear a neck collar very similar to the one in the picture. I can buy it online for $80. My orthopedic surgeon is billing my insurance $547.00. The insurance company won't pay that much for sure but I'll bet they end up paying a lot more than $80. I'm also willing to bet that I wouldn't be allowed to purchase this device on my own. The surgeon probably wouldn't allow it. For me this is Obama's legacy. We had a chance to make major strides forwards in affordability. We failed miserably. People rave that so many more are insured. Bullshit. That's not insurance...it's just a reacharound. I don't see how Donald will be able to fix this mess. I'd like to see us go to a single payer system but I fear the quagmire healthcare becomes when we finally do. Please don't dent the planet. I think you are grossly underestimating the average American. Are you referring to the same average American who elected Trump? Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

You mean like Obama? I can't answer your question. I haven't seen their track record of public service yet. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne -
If you mean that a $5,000 deductible is not really a good healthcare plan, then a lot of Americans do not have a really good healthcare plan. My private healthcare plan has a $3500 deductible ( only one person on the plan ). My son's family's private healthcare plan has a $9,000 deductible. And people complain about ObamaCare. Jerry Baumchen The difference being you can probably afford it. Most of the ACA folks who purchased through the exchanges don't even understand the meaning of the word deductible. Boy are they gonna be pissed when they actually have to use it. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

You've said a lot of ignorant things over the years here but your lack of understanding of what's involved in being in the military today just about takes the cake. It's not just the willingness to put your life in danger; it's the willingness to commit yourself to a life that is uncomfortable at best and most definitely inconvenient. My children serve their country because they love their country and wanted to give back. I have no problem with someone who burns a flag. They're ignorant as well. At least we know where they're coming from. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

"There are millions of people who have coverage under Obamacare," Angoff says. "What are they going to tell those guys?" $5,000.00 deductibles don't equal healthcare. It's more likely impacted by the jobs situation. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

That was kinda the premise of the article. Agree with the explanation or not, but asking how he explains it when the whole point of the post is a link to the thoughts of a guy who attempts to explain it only shows that you really aren't paying attention. I looked at the article. It lost me with the headline about whining. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne

The market was over saturated and he did nothing to control costs. But he did make sure that his investors took most of the losses. He is a GREAT businessman. He has learned just how to give other people the business. If you'd like to do some research into who Donald is this would be a good place to start. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/film/the-choice-2016/ Please don't dent the planet. Being overly dramatic hurts your argument. And, I do understand what being "elite" means in DC. It's not the good thing you think it is.
