Dear God, Chuck. I am sending serious prayers upwards regarding Kitty. I am constantly amazed by the animal kingdom. That is one serious bond on Kittys part. Damn. How the hell Kitty made it back to the safe place behind your knee is beyond me. And then waited till you woke up. I have made a couple of Vet runs myself and then barely choke out the words to the Vet as to what the problem is. Skeet, Flea and Olav Zipster got out 2 days ago thru the fence. I lost my mind. After they got in the car I cried and howled the whole way home (2 blocks) and then for hours. I finally had to take a damn pill. I have plans in place if Skeet gets hurt. He weighs around 160+. But I think I would have the adrenalin to lift him in that situation. I am very careful about him running on hard surfaces. I dont allow it. His hip, if replaced, would be a titanium human hip. ~AirAnn~

I was going to say that. But in any case, drugs are not good. Especially Speed. In your note where you said your friend was shooting and missed her vein and squirted it in her mouth.... this one is really addicted. Couple of things here, doing $50 worth in one shot is quite a bit. And having to swallow something that tastes horrible is really a bad crave. If this is the same person who lost all the weight, she is in real trouble. I wonder if her new guy is a person who approves of this and maybe is a user as well. Really not good. But as has been said previously- you cant talk an addict out of anything they want to do realistically. You can do an intervention. You can say you wish she would stop. But that doesnt mean she will anytime soon. Women will love the fact that they are thin at the same time killing themselves. Its a tuff sell. Mainly - let your friend know you love her and you are seeing a difference that isnt that great, if she needs you - you are there. But dont enable her to buy any more, as in, loan money or etc. Good luck, and you are really a good friend. Dont be real suprised if she doesnt think so right now if you try to talk her out of doing drugs, that is the drug addiction talking. I totally agree. I originally thought she would surely have a quickie trial and go straight to jail. I was real suprised that the deceased family was on her side, for what ever reason. I think it was to keep the rest of the family together, even though. Or more likely its something we dont know. Again 100% agreed. That is likely what sealed it was having the step daughter in the car and when the child screamed to Stop it is when she 'woke up'. Not to mention the trama involved to the mental status of the child. Well, I agree again, but nobody else cut off their husbands penis due to that other case. Seems like her sentence was relatively short. But the guy isnt dead either. I find law cases, real or fictional very interesting. I love John Grisham. I have not posted in a while and I was instructed to breeze by and respond to Freebirds post. Well, Tiff... serious bad news. A blow for women skydivers as a whole. Especially after all you went through to get to where you are. And I will miss you at the dz. I believe surfing and skydiving are a perfect match. Here in Texas when the weather is bad and the winds are high its Surf Time. You have to hit it exactly perfect or you miss it. Most people think there are no waves in Texas. That is because they go to the beach when it is beautiful weather. And yeah, then there are not as many waves to SEE. Yet you can find them off the beaten track in places like Sargents, Shorties Peir, Surfside at the jetties, and the Octagon House. Hurricanes are the best unless you wait too long and get the wash cycle. Then you get the wash cycle in combination with a massive Rip. I have been out before and experienced this in hurricane Allison. Everytime I tried to paddle in I got a hand full of FISH. It was major suckage. Soon, I was conditioned to hesitate before I paddled in for fear of the fin prick. I was on my way to Mexico in the Rip before I could catch anything on my team board. Now, if I would have had a long board it wouldnt be much of an issue. I could have washed it in. Again, its all about timing. In winter it is the best just before a cold front and for 20 min to 3 hours after. Depending on tides. Are you measuring your waves from the front or the back? From the front a chest high wave here in Texas is a nice wave. Depending on where you are you can have a nice set from the outside roll in and make some nice manovers till inside and paddle out again. We dont have rocks here. But sand will pile up at jetties and peirs and we periodically have to deal with that. ~AirAnn~

LOL @ check email!!! Dude, living here is good - but not without a job. That sucks really bad. Finding a job is dependens on what you have niched out for yourself. If you are open then thats a good thing. If you are in a certain line of work it could be bad, again depending. I live inbetween both dz's and I jump both when I am jumping. It depends on what day I am jumping as to where I go. I personally feel like Beltway 8 and Westheimer is the best place to live. You cant spit and not hit a skydiver over here, both RW and Freeflyers. In addition, it is convienent to areas of town in which you might work. Anyway, its a nice start. You have your choice of dz.s. Depends on what kind of dz 'feel' you want. ~AirAnn~

I have got 2 online to jump now. I have been thru 3 breeds without hitting the right character for the position. (not the great dane) This one combines FleaFlyer who almost had it and Ginger-Spike. Looks good for now with the two puppies at 4.5 weeks. Maybe one more than the other. I need to get the sound from the Otter taped to play it for them on a regular basis. ~AirAnn~

He could still be a Toy. Do a search and see how thick the standard for the breed is and you will know what I mean. The standards are more like a Jack Russell but with longer legs. Flea is 18 lbs and total muscle, buff and when he stands there his little muscles stick out. He is NO girlie Man! LOL Some breeders dont do what they should about socialization with the babies. What I mean is in the beginning they should put a radio on for 5 min, 10 min, etc so the puppies can get used to different enviroments at other peoples houses. The new little bitties I have now are today 3 weeks old. (last night they sucked some real food from my finger and walked 1.5 feet back to mother, yeah) Flea is the Dad, anyway I bring them out to watch tv with me at night till bedtime with Mother on the couch. They are used to the other guys playing and running here and there and cats jumping and other various noises. I cant wait to see how they handle the DZ and the aircraft. Maybe I should tape the engine noise and play that for them. Hey-good idea. ~AirAnn~

I swear this is the last one! Flea was NOT amused when Olav ZipsTer came home either. I just found this and noticed the almost same expresion on Fleas face as the above situation with Skeet and Flea. Levin is coming in later and tells me he is bringing me another pet of some kind. Its hairless and cool. That is all I know. Other than the obvious question, can it skydive. Answer- Likely not. I can not guess what it is...Not a bird, not a fish, It might be a reptile, (ug) it is suposed to fit right in and make himself at home.... Thats all I know. My Dad always said if a Hippotumus showed up you would let it in. He is right. ~AirAnn~

STACY- You must come over to my house and calm the kids down. When I saw your Rat Terrier I started screaming. Look! Look! In my attempts over the years of finding the proper skydog personality, I brought home -FleaFlyer- The weird thing is this- at Precious Pets where I found Flea they showed me several tiny breeds. They looked the same, all Mini's. Rat Terrier and Fox Terrier so I picked one that had 'that certain something' Flea was suposed to be a Mini Rat Terrier, he may be. A friend of mine after a few days said it looked like something else, a Fox maybe. The store said they believe they got the litters mixed up and they dont know which one he is. By then who the hell cares, he was mine. So, some pictures look like Flea and they are Foxes. Some pictures look like Flea and they are Rats. His papers say Mini Rat Terrier. But he looks just like yours! So I squealed with delight when I saw your photo. Either one a Mini Rat or a Mini Fox, Flea is Flea. One of a kind. Max is adorable!! A couple of pictures here. Your Max looks bigger than Flea however, I dont know his age in your pic. Flea and My Foot picture is to show how small he was when he came home at 7 weeks. Then one picture shows a film canister to indicate his size. Great Danes are incredibly gentle with babies and small guys. He has never stepped on anyone. But he has accidnetly peed on everyone as they follow him and walk under him without looking up. One picture here is of Skeet when FleaFlyer came home. Another reason for Flea is he lost his friend Bob, a Austrailan Cattle Dog. Bob herded and bossed Skeet around constantly. It was a good learning experience for Skeet and me. So when that BF was eliminated so was Bob. So in comes Flea......... Skeet was NOT amused. Caption, Uh Hummm, .... Excuse Me??? ....WTF is THIS??? ~AirAnn~

Disclaimer... Zipster is a little messed up. He thinks he is a Great Dane and runs behind Skeet so he gets stuff kicked up on him. And some of these I just took right now.
