Welcome to the sky!!! Funny thing is, when you become a skydiver, you convert everything you own into skydives.. IE: My car...i can walk to the DZ, its a good 1000 skydives My TV...there is a tv at the DZ, i can sell it for 20 skydives...ect got to love it! "Airborne all the way" EL Cantador Rodriguez -
ouch..just be lucky it wasnt wrapped around anything bad! another good reason to wear a helmet! never know when your going to leave your seatbelt on and hit the plane on the way out! hook knifes! good for more then just cutting away canopies! now for seatbelts! actually i am one of the few 5 jump chumps without a night jump and only one combat jump....we had a two star general comming to visit his grandson on his graduation the day before july 4th this summer...and it was the same time a tropical storm came through the area, so we didnt get all the planned jumps in...still did get 5 jumps including one from 800 feet which was intereting "Airborne all the way" EL Cantador Rodriguez

ontop of what wayneRATS said, we have a guy at our DZ who has over 1000 jumps just this summer. Awsome swooper. I am not sure what canopy he is jumping but the point im trying to make is, its the same exact once since jump 100 or so for him. He used to be able to put a soccer ball out in the middle of the field, and kick on on a swoop. There is something to try if u get bored with ur canopy! Canopy soccer! Set someone up as a goalie too! haha "Airborne all the way" EL Cantador Rodriguez

ill come jump with u...ill even wear my camera too...but where is skydive southbeach?? ill be in lake whales for the collegiate nationals championships to the first...cant be putting too many new miles on my new truck! you should come up to deland! and if for some reason i dont get to see ur jump, next time u come to deland introduce urself to me, ill have a pie for u! ps: my 200th is comming up in 8 jumps...we could always do it together! lol "Airborne all the way" EL Cantador Rodriguez

well ive tried to follow the rule of keeping it seperate...i need one life away from the DZ to get stressed over, and one life at the DZ to relieve the stress. i mean seriously...the reason i skydive so much is to get away from my ex! i figure i cant hear her b*tching to me in the air! its the only place of no bs! Hey man...im 165lbs...from about jump 30 or so, to about jump 200 ive been jumpnig a sabre and sabre 2 170. im about 1 to 1.1 out the door. If your looking to come in fast, ever try front risers on ur final?? just tug on them for alittle it can pick u up some speed, esp on no wind days. Why I say that is that even on my big as canopy that looks like a tandem compared to others at the DZ, i can usually put it in the peas anytime i want. if you know your canopy well enough, you can make it fly. I watched jimmy tranter (maybe 135 lbs) a few weeks ago, fly a sabre 2 170 test jumping and was swooping and carving a ton! i didnt think my canopy could do that! another thing....i was jsut talking the other day about a rig i might by...i might get it to fit a 150 so i can downsize, and the next jump i got a bad spot (my fault) and had to land no where near the landnig area. I felt confident on my canopy that i can put where i wanted it. I didnt even know which way the winds were comming because they were changing, i ended up landing almost downwind in 10-15mph winds. and i was fine...someone once told me...unless u can take ur canopy and land downwind on any day in any wind situation, you aernt ready to fly a smaller one. Congrats on your 100th! Just think, next 0 you add is 1000! And i bet you wont be flipping into formations then! Congrats again, get a pie for me! "Airborne all the way" EL Cantador Rodriguez

Does anyone else see anything wrong with this???? When you exit the plane in a group you should know or atleast have an idea of whats going to happen. Headdown, belly, sitfly, campfire, star..whatever I dunno about those corking bodies! If I were you, i defenitly wouldnt do anything in groups were people are gonig to do it. And if they start to get below you...get out of their way, i have even seen the best flyers ocasionally be a bowling ball right through the middle of a formation. Its a scary site when someone flies right past you even if you saw it was comming. I def aint going out like that! Be safe!! Keep working on those docks...an awsome leg base is a good anchor and can help u to move things around uptop! "Airborne all the way" EL Cantador Rodriguez
