just bought the whole deal from aerodyne...rig and canopies...they said 8 weeks for the rig and then pushed it back to 10 cause they got a lot of orders. for the canopy, i was told those were around 6 weeks at the earliest when i ordered it so hopefully that didnt get pushed back for ya! good luck with it! show us pictures! Some more updates.... Spoke to Nancy from Ouragan suits today and she will be setting up shop at our boogie to DEMO some awsome freefly suits and swoop pants. If you have never heard of Ouragan you have to come check them out, they are so sweet! Also Mirage will be there as well as Aerodyne and PD will be represented also. if she is that smart is there a way she can go to college, get uncle sam to pay for her school like im doing and get a degree plus a spot as an officer in the army? there are tons of spots for female offciers. most that i have known in the past are in flight school now flying blackhawks...thats better then flying a desk! Hey guys..another awsome thing to add to this already awsome freaking boogie!!!! Aerodyne will be there during the boogie partying it up with us! Beach jumps were never mentioned before, i dunno how that started. Sorry to dissapoint you! You can drive on the beach in daytona while you are down here but no jumping from airplanes on it! i believe 11 or 12...i honestly forget. we had 35 seconds and they stressed the fact that the points were to be "very visible" or else they wouldnt be counted. so when we docked we held it for a second or two to show that we had it. there was some discrepancy about that cause some docks were counted that looks like slaps instead of docks. there was a big forum at the end of collegiates and most of this stuff was brought up, so hopefully next year it will be a lot better. yea my teamate just called me, said its all jacked up..ill prob get it tommorow! good job to the USPA too! they were giving us BS of how they wanted to promote collegiates and when they put it in parachutist they cant even do it right...how does that make other college students feel...who would want to compete in something that they cant even get the standings right! hey everyone...great news! Just got off the phone with crosskeys and they are sending their Alouette II helicopter to our boogie!!! Awsome! I am not sure on prices but prob in the vicinity of 30-40...no more then 40 defenitly! our club is going to front most of the money for fuel so we can get you guys cheap chopper jumps! keep checking back for more awsome things we have in the works! Ofcourse anyone is welcome!!!! We are not going to age-discriminate! As long as you dont mind trying to keep up with us crazy college kids! And as far as "clicky" Deland goes...there will be a ton of load organizing and many opportunities to meet other jumpers. We have a lot of other cool things in the plan for now but I am going to wait to say till we have 100% OK from Deland. Definitely keep this in mind...its going to be awesome!
