Betsy, Any finalized time and date schedule yet, for seminars? -
So what did he score? Looks to me like he was way off mark. I know I could do better with perhaps a little lower pass. You see, I'ts all in judging the wind and adjusting for the sun in your eyes. "K" man, awesome response in 'skydiver' mag. Your Irish is showing. How's the ws flying? I ought tell you of the suit mods I've made,... put my flight characteristics somewhere between th S3 and the VI. Mark

Skydiving is not just 'falling' . Today and for the next ten years or so, we WS flyers are in for an interesting "collision course" with general aviation. Most private pilots I know, don't like skydiving and or parasailing, and other low level intrusions to air space. Now that WS is invading upper altitudes, we can expect only problems. Be prepared to do battle over freedoms of air space and wright-of-ways in flight. If you want to swim, get out of the boat! Good luck to us. The FAA is lurking.

Jeanne, This is why I love you. You are always thinking just a little ahead of me. Of course, if you're big way oriented, break-off is paramount. My thought is that without time or resourses and money for a big way camp, that those who have been there, might be willing to share and teach and coach and encourage. If ten of us bring one each in under a wing with confidence, we just built a twenty-way. Safe, fun, and in your case, "RED and ready for speed diving". -

The bigger the better. Size does count! Count me in BIG TIME. I've got some ideas for big way participation. If a couple of oldsters are willing, to give 30 minutes or so to mini-seminars, informal, small small one on one, or one on three size groups, off to the side, a day or two ahead of "blot-day". Little dirt dives with a large picture. I know lots of low timers would love to participate, given the right environment, and would fly great, given the proper leadership. Mark -
TUCSON If anyone should need a connect from Tucson, (60 miles south of Eloy, 120 miles south of Phx), let me know. Be glad to help. Mark

Late last night on a high speed exit, I launched and flew over the skyvan for ten seonds, dropped behind and then flew back into the aircraft. The pilot ordered me to re-exit, so I re-exited and flew over the top into windshield view of the pilot. After motioning that I would bank north, the a/c banked south. I then slow spireled down to 2k and set up a very long final, straight in. At 1k, I maxxed the speed available and with the relative lift, was able to line up the runway. My last second, super de-arch gave me a secod of "flare" to touchdown. Thank god I thought to strap the rw creeper to my front side. Even though the wheels burned to nothing by the end of taxi. As I came to a halt, I tried to roll off the creeper, and found my "kick-stand" prevented me from rolling to the right. I put that tool to proper use and then..........

Looking for a legal shark to attack alstate ins co.
greybeard replied to greybeard's topic in Speakers Corner
This post should probably be in the 'bonfire', but I'm hoping for some serious help here! Alstate insurance co. has been dicking me around for over two years regarding a home owners claim, and it is way past time to just "go legal" and challenge them with a fraud and bad faith claim. My problem is finding legal counsel. Any references would be appreciated. Thanks any and all, Mark & Mary -
By the way, noneofyoufuckingbusiness, I got a question about packing the saber if you feel inclined to corrispond. (write?)

That's the greatest thing I've heard from god all day. Nice response. Bro, love yourself. Remember you are you. You are the only person you will ever truly know. You know you are worth all the trouble it will take to continue being you. Hell yeah!!! Do it all for yourownself! You are the MAN! Mark

Noting Chuck's words carefully, I submit that a close look at the "world team" may disclose that they are a bunch of 'old farts'! It just may be time for the youngsters in the sport to start to develop and build a cadre of international "world team" jumpers who, with the serious advantage of wind tunnel and expert mentoring, will soon find the old stories just old stories. The existing, soon to be forgotten, "world team", started out with a bunch of youngsters with a deep desire to accomplish something greater that themselves. !!!! Don't look for a hand up! Build your own damn ladder!!! Go kids, GO!

Is it coincidence, that most reports and rumors of stolen gear seem to come from California? I can't remember how many times, in fifteen years, I have left a gear item, ( helmet, altimeter, packing map, whatever) on the packing floor or in the bar or somewhere on the DZ, only to get a call from someone who found it or find it myself right where I left it, or at manifest. Too many years and too many instances to just say "lucky".

That is some sick and twisted flying. I wanna play too!!!!!!!

Well Clay, It's your skydive. You pay the ticket and do your thing. More power to ya! But, guess what, some silly old 50 year old fun jumper might be victim of your idea of space owned. Maybe not, I'm not saying you ever would, but could at a large dz, not knowingly, contibute to a fatal situation. Be careful, everyone! -

Getting BURKE'd is almost a badge of honor. Almost! As in a 'red badge of courage'. You have been observed in an unsafe situation. A discussion will ensue, regards your participation and your awareness of the situation. Situational awareness is preached and your response to constructive criticism is measured. Fly safe, have fun! -
low timers on high perf wingsuits big deal or no
greybeard replied to ramon's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I'm currently experimenting with modifications to my ws that will hopefully allow some versitility. Basic enhancements and changable additions, via zippered, on or off, wingspan, and wing attatchment points. Wish me luck! "Learn to flock well with others".
