  1. and the 'Three hudred way' landed 18 times without any problems. Think 'Lots of unobstructed space'.
  2. birthday, smirthday, 'GO TAKE A FLYING LEAP' I know you're not old enough to recognize that old phrase. Promise to have fun and sign my name to the bar tab! Your friend, Dan B.C. Heehee, Heehee, Heehee
  3. On the other hand, not washing your suit or yourself, helps in the ride to altitude, when you need room to zip up. And the body oils are a swell lubricant for the zippers. Plus you don't have to inform the pilot that you are on board, he/she can tell pretty soon. And consider the contrail if you're leading a flock. All positives for staying aw'natural. But you may have to consider being asked to ride to altitude on the camera step. (outside).
  4. Making love is what my wife is doing while I'm fucking.
  5. Has anyone tried to build a training harness for wingsuit flight? Something similar to static line training or more specifically like style training. I'm thinking of a single web belt or double strapped sling to lay prone in, in front of a large fan. The simulation for exit and deployment stability might be a useful experience. Video of a static position also seems like could be a helpful tool.
  6. I was diagnosed in April of 1975, and told two years at best. surgery and drugs followed. To this day I do not know if I was misdiagnosed or if I just got damn lucky. My sister is surviving today her fifth year and the battle rages on. Stay positive and be receptive to the good vibes from all of us. "A man with a 'WHY' to live, can bear with almost any 'HOW'." 7. My reflections on this past weekend, reminded me how much I have to learn and how much I have to teach and share. Have you noticed that when an experienced jumper comes up to you and offers advise, under the nicest constructive terms, it still feels like a lecture. Conversely, whenever anybody approaches you with a sincere question regarding performance, or equipment, or dz policy, or whatever,.... the guard drops and friendships are formed around trust and respect. Think! What is the initial premise here. If you identify with this thinking, do yourself and me a great favor....initiate contacts. Ask questions! The accumulated wealth of knowledge is amazing. I've got so much to learn, it's kinda scary. But, I've got a little bit to share and teach also. My favorite response to a newbie question, after telling him/her all I know, is, you better not only rely on my opinion, go ask so and so and so and so. They taught me.

    Who Are You??

A man with a 'why' to live, can bear with almost 'any' how. N.
  9. I'm thinking that people find themselves in family situations which defy prescribed ordainded protocall. My son acts as tho the world is his to command, more power to him, I think. HH, what's your thought?
  10. Its magic dude! The spirit of the skydiver defies all laws and floats the soul. Believe!

    Eloy?

With a wonderful opposite in Philly, he'd best not know about the wild and crazy parties BB thros each and every night. I'm married, so she won't even tell me where she lives. Darn it all. Us old dudes are relagated to watching sunsets. What I wouldn't give for some of that pixie dust? Of course, I'd have to either call home first or bring my bride along. (Just kidding BB).

    Eloy?

Eloy is Eloy. not a metropolis. Closest town is Casa Grande, were you can visit George Jicha at the hospital, ( Dr. G Jichca), or go to the local movie theater, tell them you are a skydiver, and admission is free! Tour old indian ruins, visit VW Proving grounds, climb Picacho Peak, ride with a cropduster, (scarry). Trek south to the Desert Museum, Kartchner Caverns, Nogales MX., or north to hub-bub Phx., Sedona, Grand Canyon, etc. My advise would be to grab a cold six pack, find some high ground and wait for the sunset. Relax and enjoy spectacular serenity. Oh, grab an opposite sex partner (or sheep, or whaterever to be PC here) to share the experience. The sunrise is even better!
  13. Every single post in this thread has been an inspiration. Thank you one and all! Positive, clear thinking, caring folk. Our world is destined to be better.
  14. conspicuous by absense, can i conclude that some soul searching is happening. WHO ARE YOU? ******************************
  15. sangrio, awaiting your 'head honcho' response. Who are you?
  16. Sangerio, I am me. I am positive and proud of me. I am so comfortable with myself that I am able to respect you. Think about that statement for a while. If you have a problem with my previous posts, if a nerve was touched, search your soul for the definition of the word.....'individualism'.
  17. You are absolutely correct. Sorry that my trigger got pulled. I've always thought that those who exspouse there collective group, were weak and actuacly very racists. They always say 'we are against racisim' , ( read ; racism against us),as they stand under their own racist banner. I be me, you be you. Individualism means One person at a time.
  18. Give me a big fucking break and please moderate this kind of crap out of the forum. I define myself as me. period. Not where i live, not where my parents lived, not were my uncle fred used to live. Who the hell really cares what my uncle fred used to believe in, much less his great, great, great, ancesteral great, great, uninformed, illiterate, third world folk. This is a sore spot for me, obiously. Anybody who declares themselves to be somebody or anybody other than just themself, bases on some preconcieved or preordained attatchment to something or somestuff. Weak, weak. Grab your ass with both hands and stand up straight. You are you, and only you! No crutches, no support, no nothing but you. How does that feel? Naked, ... good! Go forth and be you. I will respect you for being you. I will never respect you for being a 'Masson, or a Morman, or a catholic, or a black, or jew, or a whatthefuckever!
  19. Two degrees. Although the unversity tryed to swindle me out of my English Lit phd, I very cunningly parlyed it into a Linguistic Arts Doctorate. I am now revered to as a Cunning Linguist. (refered to ; revered as) sorry, a slip of the tounge. The other acguired years ago when I was an apprentice fisherman. I was first taught to bait the hookes and finaly became a 'Journeyman Baiter'. Post grad studies eventually earned me my other degree as ..........................
  20. Betsy and Greg ROCK!!!!!! How cool is that. Hope you guys had fun and have lots of stories to share. ************************************************
  21. Check out omniskore.com Our own bb and greg are having fun! Bettcha the party stories are as good as the competition tales.
  22. very cool Lou, thanks. And to all birdmen and birdwomen headed to Eloy in December, please, please, give lots of thought to safety and responsible skydiving. I think that we all may experience a new environment with regards to the number of wingsuit flyers. It'll be a blast, but remember that we may set precedence for future large flock boogies. I don't mean "rules" and shit like that, but we all have to have the presence of mind to be very, very safe. This will include respecting other jump disciplines. And blah, blah, blah, blah...........
  23. Give it up LOU. Tell us more. What do you know? Evreyone needs to to prep for safe fun.
