  1. I still don't think America will be ready to elect an openly gay president in 4 years. Or even 8. A woman will be elected first, I think. But he should keep running, as should other gay candidates until the sexuality of the candidates isn't even an issue any more because it's just normal that any field would have several women or gays in it. Once that normalization happens only then will we see one of those two groups elected, I think.
  2. With Biden having a good weekend in South Carolina, and Bloomberg finally putting his chips on the table, I suspect Super Tuesday will be a bit of a mess. Turtle will tell you that any result short of Bernie getting 100% of the votes is because of DNC meddling, but in some ways I'm wondering if we're not best carrying a larger field as far as possible. We KNOW Trump's MO will be to go full-out attack mode once a single likely candidate comes up, so forcing him to spread that vitriol out for as long as possible might actually work well for the Dems if the voting strategy really is 'anyone but Trump' for a lot of Americans.
  3. On the on the other hand, voters in general could try giving a shit about more than just a single facet of a single issue.

What makes you think I’m a liberal? Or can a conservative not ever be for gun control?

Independently my wife and I both came to the conclusion yesterday that we need to lay in a stock of water and food, just in case. I'm still curious if any panic buying starts. Nothing crazy. No 50 gallon drums of rice, or 20,000 rounds of ammo. But some fresh water, a water purifier and enough food in case stuff shuts down for a week or two. We've been told for years that because we're in an earthquake zone it's a good idea to have stuff like this on hand, so it'll keep us for a while.
  6. Why would you, as a civilian, need a rifle that can shoot a milk bottle 1000 yards away? You’re not hunting at that range. You’re not using it for home defense. About the only possible reason I can imagine is for competition target shooting.
  7. This has always been my biggest issue with Bernie's position. I'm OK with some of these, but all of them in a single agenda is far too much. That said, I still think he'll do less damage over the next 4 years than Trump.
  8. I’m not arguing climate change with you. I don’t talk religion with fanatics either. I’m talking grammar and communication. You stated that it’s ridiculous to have ‘drought and flood’ in the same sentence. You’re simply wrong in that statement.
  9. We should pick a date when surprising and shocking information about Bernie is leaked to the press. I'm going with 11 days prior to the election. It worked last time.
  10. But your retort was about what BILL posted. Not what YOU said.... And he's not stupid enough for his sentence to mean what you want it to. Which means you're deliberately taking it wrongly to try and ridicule the entire argument so you can say 'how ridiculous you sound'. "But the reason that more people are coming to accept climate change is not that anyone is going to convince them - but because they have seen the flooding and the droughts and the fires," is what he said... At no point does that post indicate that he's talking about the same locations or even the same point in time. There might be flooding in typically dry areas, and vice versa. And these events don't have to happen simultaneously for that sentence to still be valid. So not only is your argument grammatically incorrect as there are any number of sentences in which 'flooding' and 'droughts' can be used in the same sentence without being ridiculous, it's also a fallacy based upon your deliberate and dishonest misunderstanding of the post. So like I said, a ludicrous argument to support your point of view... Try harder next time.
  11. You get that these things can happen simultaneously in different parts of the world, right? Because the world is, you know, big. It’s raining here and sunny in Delhi today. I doubt that sounds ridiculous to you, does it? You continue to make the most ludicrous arguments to support your point of view.
  12. How much has she been in the news in the last 3 years??? I can honestly say I've seen less than half a dozen stories about her in the main headlines.
  13. Way to miss the point. And stop trying to make strawmen arguments. This isn't about what MIGHT have happened, or who it's about. I get really tired of this nonsense form of arguing of yours. We don't know what Russia was doing. It was a closed door hearing.. If it was something sketchy then our government should know about it (which is the job of the intelligence services) and do something, but they won't be able to do this in future because they won't get the information they need because it'll all be kept secret by Trump sycophants who place their employment and prosperity above the welfare of the country. What MATTERS to us as an electorate is Trump's reaction to this news. He instantly strikes out at anything he doesn't like and sees anyone reporting it as 'disloyal'. That's not healthy for a democracy.
  14. Putting this here for discussion because Turtle didn't want it in his humor thread. Link "US intelligence agencies have warned that Russia is attempting to help President Donald Trump get re-elected in November, US media report. The comments came in a closed-door briefing to the House Intelligence Committee on 13 February, officials told US outlets." And then "President Trump was reportedly enraged, complaining that Democrats would use the information against him. He replaced his acting intelligence chief, Joseph Maguire, on Thursday. Mr Maguire was a favourite to be nominated for the permanent Director of National Intelligence (DNI) post, the Washington Post said. However, the paper said the president changed his mind when he found out about the briefing, and what he called the "disloyalty" of his staff." This is serious, not matter what side of the aisle you're on. Please. WRITE to your elected officials. Not just about the concern of a foreign power interfering in our elections, but about the President acting more and more like a dictator. How are your politicians supposed to make informed decisions if they're not getting the truth from Intelligence employees because they all get instantly fired if Trump doesn't like what he hears? This behavior in no way benefits us as a country or a people.
  15. If she doesn't run will you finally shut up about her? It's been nearly 4 years. Let it go, man.
  16. Hillary is unelectable because of her history. Buttgieg is unelectable because of his sexuality. Warren is probably unelectable because of her gender. Bernie almost certainly unelectable because 'socialism'. That's simply the way I see America right now. It's great to talk about gay rights, or empowering women, but there are hundreds of millions of people who simply aren't ready for that yet. Standing as a candidate is a good start in normalizing those attitudes for the future though.

Can you share that? Before you do I will say that biotechnology patents are written to be as generic as possible, partly to cover as wide an application as possible, but also to hide what a company is actually working on from competitors.

Did you see HOW he researched and then determined that, or were you just told he did?

It’s all a smokescreen to protect the REAL Q channels. They’ve deliberately sacrificed their own in order to beat the deep state. It’s all part of the plan... that will be described later... IF you can understand the drops. And have the secret decoder ring. You’d understand that if you were a patriot, Bill.
  20. California should use the Trump presidency and the Republican Senate majority to jump ship from the US altogether. Trump's just about dumb enough to say OK to it ("#Let them protect their OWN border!! MAGA!" or something similar), and we've already seen the senate will go along with whatever he says.
  21. Hi Paul, the one thing that concerns me is that Barron stated that no trustees or Board Members have experience managing design and construction projects of this scale. Could you please confirm is that's the case or not? If it is the case, I might be able to help out a little. I've been a design management consultant for 15 years on multi billion dollar projects and specialize in the planning and delivery of projects like this. Will

No! I'm Q! And so's my wife! Can't ever turn down a good Life of Brian quote.
  23. Like he gives a shit. The Republican Party have proven that they’ll back him no matter what. This is what happens if you tell a criminal they can do whatever they want.
