    I never show up at the DZ with my rig packed. If you pack and then get killed in a car accident on the way to the DZ, you've wasted a pack job.

    I didn't see any thing about doors closing unexpectedly. On airplanes with swing up doors, the door is held open by air flow. They are closed the same way, and can slam shut very fast. Make sure you have fingers and hands well clear of the doorframe. Edited to add "My thumb still hurts"

    Wasn't that a bitch trying to find victims erperienced passengers? All of my so called friends were hiding from me for a couple of weeks.

    A couple of times due to weather. Once, a first jump static line student had his main deploy and it tore a chunk out of the starboard horizontal stabilizer(cessna 182). I still had two SL students on board and after a brief discussion with the pilot, we all rode the plane back down.
