Ok so I have to admit this. I was a test passenger for a guy getting his tandem rateing out at Coolidge, and I have to say for some strange reason I got so completly sick under canopy, I didn't puke, but I really could have. I have never been sick jumping myself, so it was very strange, but I think that alot had to do not being in controll. I get that way in the car, if I am not driving I get really car sick.

I have that video on DVD, my mom thought it would be a good birthday present last year, she also got my Dropzone...umm they sure are funny to watch. Oh well at least it wasn't Point Break, gosh I hate that movie.... Any ways, the knights in that movie besides #8 were all Knights at that time for real. I just remeber James pointing hisself out to me and the guy who swoops into the hanger, I can't remeber his name right now, was at Coolidge for training with the 4 way team in Jan 2003. I don't rember any pond chowing in that movie... oh wait I do remember Steven Baldwin's Character crash landing a bit though...hmm...would have to see the credits for the stunt persons name, because the DVD doesn't have any features showing the stunts and stuff.... Oh and Todd has one of the orange ju,psuits from that movie, they gave the jumpsuits away at Perris after they were done filming.

If the other 3 are smart, they'll break up the Rob/Amber thing tonight and vote one of them off. If Rob doesn't get immunity, he should definitely be voted off. That is exactlly what I was saying. The other three are really stupid to think that Rob will take them to the finall two. Two means two not everyone! lol... geez, he will take Amber duh! So he or she better go tonight.

Oh that was what you were talking about....lol...I thought "it" was that evil monthly visitor that reeks havoc if you miss "it". lol.... Ok that too I miss! I haven't jumped since April 5th or something like that and it allready seems like an eternity agao, I can't wait for November! I wear the day I am realised from the hospital I will be at the DZ hopping on a load!

Hey have been missing "it" for a couple of months now, and I tell ya I don't miss it at all! Even though when "it" comes back "it" brings flood gates of hell! Esp. after having twins...Now "it" could stay away forever if only the doctor would take "it" all out after I have the twins, that would make me very happy! Of couse the doctor should leave in the ovaries, so I don't grow a mustache and such...

No kidding, that would have been so awesome to see Rob all pissed and upset, the game would be 100% differnt. Any ways, I want Rupert to win out of all of them, but you know being how stupide they all are it will be Amber and Rob in the final two and Amber will win because she didn't really piss anyone off everyone knew who she would vote with.

I am not sure, but if they were smart, which obivously they are not, because they would have done this a long time ago, it would be Boston Rob or Amber....

My boyfirend did just three days after he broke his back and ribs, when he hit the pond...he said that he never noticed his ribs hurting, but he did notice his back hurting, and well at the time he really didn't care. Swoopers go figure....He said he would do it all over again too.

Well at Coolidge during the Mullins days, there wasn't any belly fliers, and then when he left and I switched going to Eloy, it seemed to me, that the belly flyers there were complete sky gods and wouldn't jump with newbies and when I started getting coaching from Jeffro, it just sort of happend that I went to freeflying right away. plus the freefliers at Eloy seem to be alot more friendly and not so into just their group and like you said solo ay dives are boring. Besides flying on your belly is long and it hurts your back and it is unnatural and boring and les to do, sure when you are doing 25 point 8 ways, I am sure it is hard, but it seems silly to me, and you are just asking for someone to pull you at altitude! I have however flown on my bely since starting freeflying, mostly to learn how to dock onto hybrid jumps, but also to get a bit more perspective, but I do not want to do RW. I learned freeflying rather safely getting lots of coaching and did al ot of tracking dives on my back. I eventually want to get into freestyle. However, now that I am not able to jump until after November 15th, I am sure that when I go back they will make me do a few belly jumps...ugh the agony, I can feel my back hurting already.

I too saw the ads for Oprah, and I never ever watch Oprah, but since BASE was being shown I chose to watch it, and boy was I disappointed.... "His chute wouldn't open and he was seconds from death then suddally it finally opened" Um yeah... he didn't pull because to me it looked like he was very unstable and when he fianlly got stable he pulled...I think I saw a better show on that same jump on National Geographic. That was it, I was pretty upset I wasted my hour watching Oprah...but the story of the hikers in the begining was pretty interesting.

When Mullins was at Coolidge still, they had a sign up at manifest with a condom, stating that skydiving is safer than unprotected sex. He also use to say that "You have a better chance of the stearing wheel of your car fall off in your lap on your way to the DZ than for your reserve to fail" well maybe but Marc had a double mal and there are lots that miss him including myself, I know his could have been avoided and many were argueing over it, but still hi reserve failed and I don't remeber anyone saying that their stearing wheel feel off in ther laps, ever...

Would they be useing it before or after they jumped? I would guess before, but if they could figure out a way to make one to catch people mid air it and stop the fall, might be good for your ground crew to have. Not for cops though cause they wouldn't know the difference between a mal and a delay.... Of course if they did make one to catch people mid air I am sure that BASE jumping would change altogether, I mean who would need a rig at all? Which make me wonder why Birdman hasn't figured out how to land the suit from BASE objects yet... Ok maybe my morning sickeness is getting to my head...forget what you read and just click my clicky below....all will be forgotten...

Orthopedic Surgeon....I start medical school Fall of 2005, I was going to start this fall, but having twins is putting that on hold as well as skydiving... Actually, my ultimate job would be to be able to have a free clinic on a busy DZ and treat those broke skydivers without medical insurance, and the DZO to allow me to jump as much as I want to.

I got the email below today, just wondering what is going on? I never really use this email address, so I know I didn't do anything, and I can't read the attachment due to a virus that Norton caught. HH did you really send this to me or is this a virus going out to everyone, if so this is my caution to those that got this as well... Kathryn

I too want to get into Freestyle later on in my skydiving. I did ballet since I was two and I dance with Ballet Dallas and the Kirov Acadeamy. I ended up having tendonitist in my knees that stoped my pro-ballet carreer. I miss it, but I think that freesatyle is going to be even better for me later on, esp after getting into Yoga this past winter. However, right now my main goal is to have a healthy set of twins.
