Are you sure? Unless they make it where you have to be 18 or over to buy those products there are still grounds for lawsuites with the labels. I am not sure if they would win, but isn't that why alchol and tabacco have age limits? It isn't because they are addictive and are drungs, it is beause minors can not legal be held accountable for reading contracts or warning labels....edited to add: same thing with financing a car, yeah you can be 16 to drive in most states, but you can not legally sign the paperwork to finance a car until you are 18. You can not legally sign an apartment lease or any contract for that matter....

If anyone thinks their child(ren) are perfect angels, they need a wake up call! I must say that my children are perfect angels, when they are asleep, for the rest of the time, they are total monsters...cute and I love them, but sometimes I just want to get away from them. Maybe being a single mother for so long has gotten to me and now that I am with someone who loves my kids as much as I do...unlike their real father, it is so easy to get away for alone time, but then I get use to that alone time, and I want more....Now don't get me wrong my kids are great and I love them, but they are far from perfect angels. Kids tend to get into trouble and act out at some point, some just more than others, some are more extreme than others and some should be locked up and never realised...

People who can't take jokes or sarcasim.... Old people so scared of driving that they go 10 mph no matter what and don't pay any attention to what they are doing...I really truelly think that persons over the age of 60 should all have to take driving tests and eye tests every year thereafter to keep their liscenses.... I know that plenty of older people are fine driving but alot are not. People who shove their views done other's throughts that don't stop and look at the whole picture and the outcomes should it change to be they way they think it should....like not letting firefighters do contained burns in forests to prevent horriable devestation should a fire break out.... People without children forming any opinion on the way others raise their children, when they have no clue about raising kids at all...yeah they may have younger brothers or sisters, but still do they really know what it is like?

I agreed to that too. I even told Todd that if anything happend to me, and the babies were ok, this would be the only time I would want to be on life support to stay alive until they can safely deliver the babies, and then let me die in peace. I do however, feel that many people would change their views if put in the right (well really aweful) situtation. It just depends on what one can handle. Like how much money would it take for you to stop skydiving, everyone is different, but I am sure if someone was standing there right infornt of you with enough cash I am sure you would go for it. Now as far as when a baby becomes a person is very hard to determain. Esp when teenage mothers who kill their babies after birth because they are scared only gets a 4 year sentance, really what is up with that? Any ways, I am very against abortion for those that use it as birth control, but I can sympathis with rape victims and those with life threating complications. Or just the fact with all the prenatul testing they can do to see if the child will have downs syndrom or be born without legs and arms, I mean then would you really want to bring that child into the world to suffer their whole lives? I know that downs syndrom children seem to be happy, but are they really? Know one really knows what goes on in their heads....

Their is nothing grey about the life that was created.. Nothing grey about killing an innocent child.... OK... let me get this straight... an innocent woman is violently raped and left for dead... as a result, she finds she is pregnant. she immediately decides (right away) that she does not want to carry this baby and has an abortion... that woman is therefor a "murderer"???????? Not just that but what if that woman is actually your 10 year old daughter, yes 10 year olds are able to make babies, not all but there are some, I started when I was 11.... What then Rino? Do you really think that you would feel the same if your 10 year old daughter was raped and then became pregnant? It can happen, it does happen. Should your 10 year old's life be jepordized by something completly out of her hands, or should all young girls start taking the pill, just incase they are raped?

oh my gosh someone else that thinks things out all the way as to what will happen into the future... I full heartlly think that if you really look at all view points of everything in the end it is all bad at some level... You can't please everyone and no one can predicte the future. It is just like Lasik surgery, yeah it is great right now, but do they really know the long term effects of it? I mean really? Just like breast implants and liposculpture and nose jobs, I mean really how long have they been doing them? Do they really know the full effects? No I doubt it. They couldn't possiablly have had a 16 year old girl with a breast job, later on then at age 95 know what it did to her body, it just hasn't been around that long.

awe but then this all starts to go to... how we in America view fat people.... this whole thread is starting to go there, I can see it...so I will start it, America is really the only place that I know that gives huge portions of food at all restruants, to keep prices higher, and then turns around and bad mouths over weight people and they eat too much and blah blah blah, if you are not an abnormally skinny "model" type you must be unhealthy...Aren't they way more unhealthy by not eating at all? Any ways, I don't agree with stuffing yourself to 300lbs, but I do believe that you have one life to live and you should eat what you want, and do what you feel is best for you, but just make sure you are exersizing enough to make sure that you aren't obeses...or atleast limit yourself on you "junk" intake. Being pregnant right now it is very hard to not eat bad things like chocolate and candy and Taco Bell, cause cravings suck! but I do tend to get other cravings too, like Spinache and fried ocra...mmm ocra...Ok so it is still fried but it is still so yummy.... Even though I crave these things and it drives me crazy till I eat, and useually I start eating it and then get all sick and wont eat it again ever....but I try and limit my self to a healthy diet every day except Fridays, which is the day I leave for myself to eat what I want to...then I have the best of both owrlds, and limiting it to one day, is a lot better than you think.

oh come on NEVER ever? I don't believe that, all kids do...my daughter has to be the most stubborn girl I have ever meet. Granted all kids are different. I only remeber my son have a tantrum once at three, but my daughter throws them over anything and everything. It doesn't matter what I do or say, she does it, she is going to be two in June. She would ask for a drink while I am in the middle of the dishes and I would tell her just a min and she would throw a fit. I am not going to drop everything just to get her a drink when she demands one, what is that teaching her? Of course that would stop her screaming and crieing, but all it is going to do is make her think that mommy is here to serve her as soon as she speaks, not a good thing to teach your children. Now, I know some kids are way more well behaved but you can't exactly blame the parents. All kids are totally differnt in everything. When my son was little he was so laid back and easy going, now he is hyper and can sit still for two seconds...because that is the way he is, not because of the way I raised him. My daughter on the other hand is very stubborn and active, which makes me think that maybe when she is her borther's age if she will settle down and be the total oppoisite of the way he is now. Who knows, but I would really like to know how you kept your children when they were two to not throw tantrums? That is part of growing up, from what I have read in parenting magazines is that they all do it at some point and as long as you don't give in to it, they will eventually stop and grow out of it.

yep Coolidge is very kid friendly, and I know you two take your kids to the DZ all the time, the owner does as well. No biggie there, because there is someone watching them. Just not all DZs are like that though and kids really should not be there, well younger kids...I think older kids that have longer attention spans might do better, but still is it really a place for kids? Do others mind that your kids are there? I know of some people that were at Coolidge that mentioned to me that it really bothered them to see kids there. I am not sure if they still go there or not, but I remember them talking about it. I know lots of people that don't have kids don't want kids that even get pissed when people take their kids to a restraunt or a movie that isn't a family movie. That actually really bothers me when I see little kids at a movie past 7pm, they should be at home in bed not watching a three hour long movie, that doesn't interest them to begin with like Titantic...I mean really what is in that movie that a 5 year old would enjoy? Would a 5 year old actually sit still and watch that movie? No way. They might watch Scoobie Doo, but not some love story... I hate that...

yep being a Texas chick that moved to AZ for a bit then moved to Cali, sure does make living here seem like pure hell...Cali is so socially and politaclly correct it is driving me crazy! It is bad to disapline your children here, no yelling or telling them not to do something, let alone spanking them or punishing them, but when they grow up to be drug crazied murdering teens, then it is all your fault. I was spanked as a child and yelled at and punished alot and I turned out allright. Shoot if I said a dirty word infornt of my mother she would wash my mouth out with soap, oh my gosh she should be thrown in jail here for that....please...California is so screwed up with the way the think...like moving the pine beetles to Idywild...now they have killed all the pine trees and when a fire gets started there then the whole mountain will go up, what then? No more trees...geez, and they worry about all those trees that people cut down for building homes.

I don't know if I ever want my kids to touch my rig, ever...you never know what you did to piss them off that they are hiding from you, just to take their revenge elsewhere without you knowing....that would be scarey....lol...no really I wouldn't want my kids packing unless they truelly wanted to learn, then I would teach them, and yeah that is a great job for those that are not old enough to jump, but are responsiable enough to do so...I know a few teenagers that are packers. I know of a jumper that started packing and saved that money to learn to skydive later on. 11 though is too young to pack.

yep, everything and everyone should have lables, because after all we are all too stupid to think for ourselves....lol...Why can't people just stop and think about what they are saying and preaching to others? I mean really really think of the outcomes. Like blaming someone's abusive parents for their abusive behaviour, where would that stop? I mean then you have to blame their parent's parents and so on and so on...eventually everyone is to blame for one person's action, when really there is no one to blame but the orginal person. Same thing with every thing else ever brought up. In reality there is only yourself to blame in anything. yep that is true...just like Sweet N Low causes cancer...yes it does, in large ammounts given to lab rats...hmm.... I do wonder what PETS thinks, after all they are giving cancer to rats knowingly, just to see the effects so they can lable things for humans...hmm... Well all this just boils down to is the simple saying, "You can't please everyone" Someone somewhere is going to find an excusse for everything and someway to sue someone just because they can. You really can go and sue so and so for haveing blue eyes, not that you would win or any lawyer would take your case but you really could....After all you can sue coffee suppliers for coffee being hot, if they don't have that lable on their cups....

No I read it I was just going to the extreme, because there always is someone that does...I wasn't in any way agreeing with outlawng anything...I was just makeing people see the whole picture, with their views...like something simpler....Putting labels on coffee at McDonalds to say that is Hot...well duh, but if they are that ignorent then they should have to put lables on eveything...according to teir own arguments...like outlawing abortion, their views then seem to point to outlawing birth control, which in turn seem to out law every contraceptive, except the only contriceptive that is 100% safe and that is abstonince...then there still would eventually not be any one in the world left.... I was just doing the extrimist point of view, since I doubt everyone will stop having sex...

Oh I remeber that too, but I think mostly it was to make me eat my veggies and to make sure I knew what "your eyes are bigger than your stomache" meant as well. I make sure my kids eat everything, well not my two year old, but my six year old. I have him tell me how much he wants, I don't let him pick out what he wants, because I will not allow my kids to be spoiled like my little brother...my parents would order him a pizza if he didn't like what they made for dinner...Now back to my son, he picks out how much he gets of what, but I make sure he tries everything and then I make sure he eats it all, why because he needs to eat everything that is made for him, until he has a job and can buy his own food, and he needs to learn that he can get seconds, if he is still hungry, not pile too much on his plate that he can not eat, that we can not use for leftovers. edited to add: I make sure of when I do know that he really does not like something and when he is just saying that to get dessert...there is a difference....trust me...

Well that is not entirelly true I got pregnant with my daughter while taking Ortho Tri Cyclen, I took it correctly for two years, and never even had a period at all for those two years, I had no clue I was pregnant with her until my fith month. I was so scared and worried that there was something wrong with her because I didn't know and I was continueing o take the pill, when I didn't know, and I drank an aweful lot, because I didn't have a clue. Only when I started to gain weight in just my belly did I even start to ask to ask the doctor what was wrong, and even then I still didn't believe I was pregnant, but Iwas and then I made sure they did every test they could to see if not knowing for so long caused any harm, thankfully nothing was wrong, I am not sure what I would have done had there have been, but I am very glad that she is here today, She is so sweet and special...well my son is too...I guess every mom says that. I was just going to the extreme because people tend to do that.

Yeah, i can see bringing kids who are older to the DZ, and even taking my kids to play on the swing sets, but not while I am jumping, maybe when they are older and I trust them to leave them to play in the spectators area, even though I would still ask someone to keep an eye on them...but not right now, too little, their attention span is so short that one min they are watching TV the next they are off being quiet, and you know what useually happens when kids are quiet, they are either asleep or getting into trouble...

Yeah but who's fault is that really? the makers? No the people eating them, and the parents letting their kids eat them....What happend to parents makeing kids eat healthy foods and occasionally eat junk food? Oh I know people look down upon forcing your kids to eat veggies that they don't like, that is a form of abuse to some people, and to them you should let your children eat what they want to and what do kids want to eat but junk food? Why because it tastes good. Junk food is fine every once in a while, but not everyday. Then you have the families that have no time to cook and eat out everyday. Then you have people who can't afford to buy health foods, like you stated in the begining. What is cheap? Oh all the bad stuff. Why is that, because the makers of the health food know that they can overcharge because people will pay it and they will continue to pay it. Now I just think it is crazy to put lables for the obvious....like Caution Coffee is Hot...What's up with that? Or at a stadium and the rails say Don't lean over or jump off? Even at the DZ warning labels on Tandem harnesses...duh, why would someone really think that jumping out with just the harness on will save their life? It isn't that people are that stupid, it is the fact the people like to manipulate things to make money. Like the parents who sued Bevis and Butthead makers, for the frog baseball episode, claiming it corrupted their kids and made them do things.... Yeah the cartoon is really to blame for that.... how about blaming your kids for their actions....Or better yet blameing The Matrix for the Columbine shooting....Yep, every one who saw that move is now corrupt and will eventually kill everyone they see. Is the movie to blame for that? Hell no. Are the parents? No not really, because those kids made their choices, their parents didn't raise them to kill students. They should have noticed their kids' behaviour before hand, but they were teenagers and teenagers all act funny.

yeah but if they put a lable on it, like they do cigaretts and alchol, wouldn't that be the same exact thing? If you are under 18 you can not make those choices on your own, you can't be legal liable so, who wouldn't turn around and sue...it would be an easy win then...If I thought about it I am sure others have and I am very sure others will go out and sue, just because they can....even if they don't win, it sure would hinder our courts and they would then make the 18 and over limit

Ok they are talking about putting a Suergon's General Warning on French Fries here in Cali, to let people know that it has caused cancer when given in large amounts to rats. They are also thinking about a warning saying they cause obesity and heart problems. So what happens next, hmm...someone sues McDonalds for their child's exccess weight and heart problems, because "they are too young to make that desicion on their own" Thus leading to having to be 18 or over to purchase French Fries...So no more Fries in happy meals, no more fries at the grocery store to make at home...Don't get caught contributing to the delinquicy of minors by having Fries at you family BBQ.... Is that nuts or what?

IF they out law oral contraceptives, then should they not also outlaw condoms? I mean that is the same thing, denying the sperm a way to the egg.... What would happen then? Oh lots and lots of HIV patients running around, having HIV born kids... pretty soon everyone whould have some sort of STD and every child would be born with one, since abortion would be illegel as well.... What then? Oh in about 100 years there would be no one left.... Yep, that sounds good... People need to stop and think about what they are really preaching to others and see where it leads them to into the future....

I was close to get started...I saved my money, and started doing some drills under canopy, but then boy and girl meet and one plus one somehow is going to make three possiably four, more than likely four....So there goes my BASE money...twins...geez...I already have two kids, now two more! Oh well, I am sure that I could sell them and make a killing....but I am sure I will change my mind once I see them....babies are so cute....lol... No really I will just have to wait until next year. I can't even skydive anymore...
