  1. We call that the 'Phil Allen Death Roll', I've got some spectacular footage somewhere of the man attempting a barrel roll and dropping like a lead balloon - it's really quite amazing, he looks like he's just been shot down by the enemy. I should be so lucky. Instead I think I'll buy some really good thermals and grin and bear it. Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  2. What a shocking accusation
  3. Wow, 8 weeks can seem like an eternity when you're waiting for your shiny new GTi to turn up! But it did eventually and it's great
  4. BPS Langar has been operating since 1977. Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  5. Very cool, thanks for putting it online. Video editing is no easy task but it looks good. That exit shot at about 3 mins 20 secs is just awesome
  6. You crazy scotch folk with your talk of 'wingsuit forums' and such like. Is there a 'women only' forum too, LOL! ...buggar. Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  7. It's quite simple: wingsuits rock! And yes, they're worth the money but you don't need to spend £650, I got mine direct from Birdman for about £460 - and there are a few second hand suits around in the uk. Gus OutpatientsOnline.com

    Its a crossfire2

Is your profile up to date? I'm no Canopy Nazi (TM) but a Crossfire2 at 1.7+ seems quite high for 300 jumps... Gus OutpatientsOnline.com

Dude, that's a sad situation right there.
  10. It's here but let me finish my download before you start . Gus OutpatientsOnline.com

Maybe you need a trip to Arizona
  13. There's a 900k mpeg-2 codec download from elecard.com here. Sweet videos! Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  14. Rumour has it HMA lines have been banned on (European?) Paragliders because of fears over their UV resistance. Some people also reckon HMA doesn't show wear the same way as Spectra which means they'll break without any visible warning. All or none of this may be true! Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  15. Agreed. Modern wingsuits are still a pretty 'young' technology, there's got to be a few suprises there. What else? Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  16. Ram-air canopies have been around for a while and you could probably argue that 'recent' advances like cross-bracing and airlocks are more evolutionary than revolutionary. The same could be said for AADs and harness/container systems - progress is slow and steady (not necessarily a bad thing when our lives are on the line
  17. This one made me laugh, it's very funny. Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  18. Have you seen this? Demo rigs for sale that might give you an idea of resale value. Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  19. Cool! PM me or post here with the results. Were you having problems with your unmodified Atom? If you can get a photo I'd like to see what it looks like after your mod. Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  20. If it's not too huge ask Pilot Dave if you can put it onto skydivingmovies.com, we'd all love to see it. Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  21. For Birdman jumping: it's been an option available on Wings for a while. It's to help give a cleaner deployment since the canopy is no longer opening directly above you - lots of forward speed means it's actually opening above and behind you. Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  22. 'Old' doesn't have to equal 'bad'! I've got plenty of friends who jump containers that are more than ten years old, infact some of them are probably a fair bit older than that. Bear in mind that your choices might restrict what you can do in the air (ie think 'freefly friendly'
  23. I don't think that pdf offers open corners as an option on new Atoms but has anyone had their rigger do this retrospectively? Or have any of the riggers out there done it for someone? Gus OutpatientsOnline.com
  24. What mods did you have? Gus OutpatientsOnline.com

    2K Composites

There's a thread here about the FF2, I have one (an FFX) and in general I'm very happy with it. What I've noticed though is that almost everyone I know with one has modded it slightly one way or another to get everything just right (camera angles, audible positions etc.).
