There are so many loop holes thru the ssytem that it is sad.. this case sounds like a similar case that i know of.. and the crazy part is the years in sport.. The now TM that I know made a jump (single jump) many years ago and then came back years later, is now what i consider two years in the sport (after achieveing your A card or getting off the student status as a general guide) and got his TM rating.. he did not even have an i card yet but was quickly pushed thru a course to make it all legit.. that young jumpers attitude has already bit him a few weeks back but he may not have learned his lesson and it does not have to be this way. I guess it's not a degree but I have 40 credit hours and a certificate from a college when i went thru thier truck driving school.. I worked in the medical field and hauled liquid oxygen to pt's homes to fill thier tanks.. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com

in my first jump class where about 5-6 close friends.. 3 of us kept jumping. of the three of us i am the last one that is still jumping as the other guys did not stay around long at all.. barley off student status and they where gone.. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com

I am sad for your loss magicguy.. i love my rescue dogs and have had to put one of them thru many surgerys. I realize that you are upset, but there is no reason to sue your vet as putting anything under is risky business and can cause cardiac arrest even in the most healthy of animal. It's not bullshit. I am sure that your vet is also upset but to you it may not seem so. if you work in the health care industry, animal or human either one you become somewhat callused to death and sometimes don't show that thru emotion.. we can't afford to do that sometimes or we would not last in this line of work. It is a known fact that there is no such thing as a non risk surgery and that the possiblity of not waking up is a real one for you or your animal. once again I am saddend by your loss and that really sucks. I know that I am attached to my dogs and call them my dogters as they are my little girls and I spoil them as if they where truly my children. but please don't hate your vet.. if they could have prevented this death they would have. I am a geocache junkie as well.. it is fun when traveling to new areas and even areas i thought i new well because I find some new spot that i have never seen before and they are usally in some cool landmark area. it's alot of fun.. does anyone actually take stuff? I just go for the find and drop stuff off! In the past when i lived in a small town that was mainly rual area I had about 4 caches of my own hidden.. the log books are neat to read. I am a very light TM and when i have taken light passengers during the heat of the summer I have had problems getting down. i would catch a thermal and gain alit or stay aloft at the current alti.. It was not fun. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com
