From Spokane, WA to Biloxi, MS in 42 hours, with a 2 hour stop for sleep. Spokane, WA to Fayetteville, NC, with a 17' U-Haul with my 1100cc Shadow ACE in the back with the rest of my life's possessions, and a trailer hauling my car at that point in time. I distinctly remember stopping at a gas station outside of Ellsworth AFB, SD and noticing that the car had nearly jumped the trailer from all of the rolling hills on the freeway. Depending on your intended level of involvement, you could not return the call to further impress upon him your desire to get on with your own life, and not give him the impression that he can drag you back into his with this particular tactic; or you could weigh in on this and risk causing him to believe there is reason to continue calling and bugging you on a regular basis.
