I know how you feel. My girlfriend and I only get to see each other, for more than an hour of waking time each day, on weekends. However, our separation is due to bad schedules, not travel. There was a time when my current shift was one that I would fight to the death for, now I loathe every minute I'm stuck here, unable to be with my sweetheart. Well, I'm not banking on it, but I may have a new job not long after the new year begins. I can hope, but I"m not counting on it. If it DOES happen, I'll be getting a %50 pay increase. I think I can live with that...IF it happens. The term of address "grasshopper" comes from a 70's television show called "Kung Fu", where David Caradine's character is referred to as grasshopper by his teacher. Weedleaper is just the term I use in place of the mundane "grasshopper". AWESOME! Those dogs are adorable! I miss having pets, but we're just not home often enough to take care of any. I just visit lots of pet stores to compensate. I got a $300 bonus, but raises aren't doled out until after the first of the year...gives them time to find reasons to reduce the raise.
