    This day really irritates me, even though I'm happily involved with the love of my life right now. We feel compelled to have someone special on this day and get really ragged out if we don't.     It was soda, before I decided to cause my brain undue pain and suffering by making it come down from it's 5-year plus caffeine high by switching to water only. Now, I try to fight off the death grip that something seems to have on my skull each morning and down a couple gallons of water.     I got mine not long after I had joined the Air Force and was working on air-launched nukes. I'm more of a night owl, and being on day-shift was rough. I was always grumpy in the mornings, or at least until I had a couple gallons of soda in me, so one of my supervisors dubbed me "McDuck", as in "Scrooge McDuck". It sort of stuck, especially since my last name starts with McD.
