Sucks you're getting outsourced. Sorta surprised they are doing it now as alot of companies are moving back as the wages in India are going up so the direct cost savings is dropping. Outsourcing is more expensive, partially because companies do it so badly. in all aspects from what they choose to outsource (the old POS internally developed but no longer supported app that the experts struggle to keep running vs. the current vendor supported one) and the way they do it (hiring and training/retraining directly so dealing with turnover vs. project based contracts for set time periods with bonuses for early completion and penalties for late.) However, their incompetence is what's always kept so many of us employed.

I had a similar one. Worst day of high school ever. Finally make it through the day and my car I had in my 20's is in my parking spot, not the one I had in high school. I got pissed and started yelling and screaming "This is a dream it's not real!!!" The world started to crumble and I woke up angry. When the wife is buying filet mignon on a hamburger salary, he's absolutely right to say it. What kind of a husband begrudges his family good food? A responsible one - and hamburger is good food, if not as tasty as filet (or White House wagyu beef). Ground beef can have up to 30% saturated fat. Husband should work harder instead of trying to kill his family. Operative word being "can" - wife should control her spending. If she can't, the gubment will step in and do it for her! Consumers Now Required To Seek Treasury Department Approval On All Purchases Over $50 August 10, 2011 | ISSUE 47•32 WASHINGTON—Disappointed with the way the nation has been managing its money, the Treasury Department announced Wednesday it had begun requiring citizens to seek government approval on all purchases over $50. "It's not that we don't trust people, but right now we're not seeing a lot of evidence suggesting they're capable of making these decisions on their own," Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said of the law requiring consumers to fill out a form at the point-of-sale listing the desired item, the total estimated cost, and the reason why they need it and why they need it now. "If, for example, you are a 32-year-old woman deep in credit card debt, we are going to need a compelling reason as to why you need a vintage rotary phone from Anthropologie." At press time, the department had denied Cleveland resident Jim Barnes' purchase of a Buffalo Springfield box set that he already had on cassette. Salary is just one part. What would be interesting to compare would be the total compensation packages of high level government vs. corporate positions. Additionally divide by the hours worked or "on call" to get a per hour amount.

Do blacks and Jews have some highly maintained road system or super well equiped military that the rest of us aren't aware of? While everyone benefits at minimum indirectly from both of those you mentioned, the focus needs to be on services that one directly benefits from which allows a much more widespread effect. The key is for everyone to have to make at least some direct sacrifice to lessen the finger pointing.

It's never going to work like that. We need to get back to a concept that PC and diversity drove us away from a long time ago: equality. If it's going to work it needs to suck equally for all, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, etc. Then again, you could be on to something. Rather than have the sides choose what they can/can't give up, let the other side choose for them and vice versa.

Not enough rich to tax? That's easy. Print a whole bunch of money and give it to everyone so more are rich or just make everyone rich. Then tax them. Easy peasy.

(Wet blanket) Don't use your hook knives except for the purpose they were designed as to not accidentally dull or damage them. Sure would suck to need it in the air and it not be able to do what it was intended. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

How about manufacturing freindly policies like rasing tarrifs on imports and doing away with this free trade crap? Sure for a while everything we buy at WalMart will cost more but American manufacturers will develop providing jobs for Americans. What ever happened to made in the USA? Can't really raise tariffs on imports with China owning such a larger portion of the debt. Of course there are other ways to level the playing field such as subject all imported products to the same environmental requirements as if the goods were produced here or they pay a non green fine per product,

I disagree. 1. Balance the budget only with spending cuts and program reforms. All future budgets must at least balance but surpluses highly encouraged. 2. Simplify the tax code and eliminate loopholes to provide surplus that can be used to pay off foreign owners of our debt. 3. Temporary across the board tax increase/equivalent benefits reductions to pay off more. If program does not produce additional revenue (likely), discontinue. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

That's because raising taxes (while easier), is not the solution, at least not yet as that money would just be wasted. Spending cuts and reform need to happen before we even look at raising taxes. Come up with a plan that at least balances the budget without raising taxes and then we can use the tax increase to create a surplus to help pay down the debt. Make it an across the board increase: those that are not currently paying taxes will pay their portion in reduced susidies. The S&P downgraded us because the current deal that raised the cap is bullshit. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

History has shown that you cannot spell big nor small words. You realize he's posting in a foreign-to-him language, don't you? BTW, that's big OR small words. Grammar and all. actually nor would be more appropriate since the second part is also negative. just to be a grammar nazi Capitalization and punctuation are not part of your manifesto? Even if the calculations are wrong, once you add in sales taxes on items, property taxes, etc. It probably is at 70%. That said the Bush tax cuts do need to be allowed to expire. If the income cap was removed on social security, would the benefits cap be remove as well? Hold up your left hand, palm away from you and put your forefinger up and your thumb sideways. It makes an L. I used to do marching band in high school. One day the drum major got mad at some of us for screwing up and yelled that at us. Been using it ever since. Another one my girlfriend just said was ask if they were right or left handed and have them use that.

It's a bit more complicated than that, but you know how the CIA doesn't discuss "sources and methods"? Yeah, we're not doing that here either. Setec Astronomy Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
