I don't speed anyway. After hitting a deer going 80+, totalling a car that I only had for three weeks, and the insurance wouldn't pay for it... I slowed down, and never had a lead foot after that. A lawyer works too. Last time I got pulled (81 in a 65) I got a lawyer. $50 fee to them and $80 or so in court costs and it was reduced to defective equipment. Best part is I never had to go to court.

You all want to put a stop to that? Go to court. If you pay the fine it's easy money. If you go to court they have to have to pay to have the officer there and they're not working. Plus court costs too. If they are pulling for piddly stuff like that, go get a speedometer calibration and you'll most likely get it reduce to defective equipment, a no points violation. Even so, if you don't and still have to pay a fine, be content in knowing they made little to no money off you.
