I heard a story about Greenville's last day. Burke Fitzpatrick was the S&TA. On the last day of the DZ, right before the last load Burke walked up to the DZO and said "I'm resinging as S&TA." The DZO confused sadly said, "I know, this is the last load." Burke repeated, "No. As of this moment, I'm no longer the S&TA." and ran off to get on the plane. The DZO just looked confused. That was, until Burke's landing. Burke swooped into the hanger and didn't come to a stop until he was only inches from the rear wall.

Do you realize and accept the severe consequences (death, serious injury, permanent disability, etc.) of the increased level of risk you are taking being so far out of the suggested wingloading and canopy type for your jump numbers? Are the people in your life aware of the danger of your choice? Don't even begin to kid yourself by thinking you can be "safe" or taking a few classes and getting coaching will protect you. It does increase your odds, but they are still highly stacked against you.

On top of that, a couple of nights on Leno or Conan when you got out. "Yeah... I've had better, but for $1M... what can ya get these days?" Demand a jury trial.
