There were two guys up at the DZ the last time were there and they were trying to do some CRW. One guy had a XFire loaded at about 1.3:1 (just a guess) and another guy with a PD170 F111 loaded at about 1:1 (also a guess). They were flying all over the place up above trying to dock but they couldn't. Seems like the difference in canopies would make it very hard to do since one would fly much flatter and another would sink more, etc. Just thought I would relay that. No good reason. Sorry. I'm leaving now.

Huh?? Bwhaha! Maybe it's time to head back to Spanish class, eh? j/k I think you mean....Donde esta viviendo? (perhaps?). Hey, at least I know SOMETHING!!! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

That's a great idea. Why don't you do it?? You could make time by spending pretty Saturday and Sunday's at home doing it. Yeah right. Just find all the good posts and add them to your favorites. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

the RSL debate has been beaten to death and then drug around town from the back of Slappie's truck...and then AggieDave's truck. I was thinking about it yesterday and thought that I will keep my RSL until I have a cutaway. If I actually pulled the cutaway AND the reserve handle by myself, then I'll lose the RSL. If I pulled the first and then panicked, then I'll keep the RSL. Seems like it is a good idea until you know that you'll pull both. Thoughts? JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

I fold my PC almost all the way up and before I roll it, I fold the bridle up and leave just enough to make one fold on the outside. That has worked for me (approx. 20x) and I haven't had a hard-pull or "bridle dump" (

http://www.jimwallace-skydiving.com/ And then check out the "demo" link and you can read about the course. Sounds very awesome. Thanks for the history, Lisa!

Well, Quade....best of luck to you! That is one of my two ultimate goals of skydiving. Be a damn good TM and be a damn good PRO skydiver. I guess those could be my professional goals. Again, best of luck and keep us posted! Oh, and let me know how the Jim Wallace thing goes. I read his whole site and it looks/sounds amazing!

Hey Den....if you can get my that info about the balloon jump, that would be excelente!!! We really want to do that. It doesn't seem that jumprun.com is keeping their site updated very well. From what I see, there is a bunch of 2001 info there still. Thanks, man, and I hope to see you in Cleveland! P.S. Do you use an instant message program? JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Mike...I checked that out but they don't say anything about jumping on the beach in Ft Myers. What gives? Here is what I'm talking about: Did I miss something?? JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

So, what is the deal with Skydive Naples jumping in Ft. Myers. Laura and I will be in Punta Gorda for about 3 or 4 days and I think that is damn close to Ft. Myers. Anymore info would be appreciated. Thanks! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Hey Mike...how far is that from Space Center? That would be pretty damn sweet to check both of them out. Thanks for the info! Brandon JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Laura and I were thinking of coming up for the very beginning of it. We are headed to Gatlinburg on Sunday, so we were thinking of being there for Friday and Saturday. I read that there may be balloon jumps. Do you have more info about this? If so, you can count on us being there. Woohoo! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Those look pretty good man. I think I sent you a PM once about your site after you posted that you had more there. Here is how you add your profile pic: 1) go to control panel 2) click on the top "edit" button of the 3 3) put that web addy I sent you in the profile picture section 4) click done/save at the bottom and you're done! Let me kinow if you want another picture on there and I'd be happy to do it. (If so, you will NOT have to change anything in the "edit" screen.) JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Hey man.....thank you for the "fallrate matching" post. I saw your picture you put on and that is AWESOME!! I noticed you don't have a profile picture, so I made that one into one. If you don't like it, you can send me one you do and I'll make it for ya. If you like this one, you should put it in your profile: http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/dzpic_lawndart.jpg Blue skies! Brandon JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Another vote here for psycho packing. We learned how to flat pack our canopies this past time we jumped and it is wonderful! Icarus recommends that you psycho pack the Safire, so some guy showed us how to do it and it actually makes BRAND NEW ZP easy to pack and I have had no problems with it. Also, my opening was slow and on-heading. Laura said she had a couple of line twists, but I'm thinking it was body position. It is very easy to do and works very well. I have been told numberous times that you can't flat pack a Safire (you CAN, but not easily or efficiently) because the cells get shorter and wider the further out you get. Good luck!! Hey there....I am 5'10" and 220. I bought new gear and I would definetely recommend the articlulated harness. They move so much better and are much more comfortable. As for dealer, you should look at http://www.para-service.com and http://www.skykat.com. Those are the places with the best prices and the service is great from both. Good luck with your choices! Hi there John! Welcome to the sport. I, myself, am a newbie with under 50 jumps. I really love this sport and am certainly glad that my wife is in it. I saw that someone said something about working out your upper-body. In the latest issue of "Parachutist", there is an article about what exercises to do so you work commonly used muscles in skydiving. You should probably get ahold of an issue to take note of what is in it. If you can't get ahold of one, let me know and I can certainly send you my copy. My wife and I are both USPA members, so we get 2 issues each month. So, if you need me to send you one, let me know and I'll send it out ASAP. (PM me your addy and other info.) Welcome again!!! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Don't you love that you can do stuff like this? I know that I can't call Bill Gates when I have OS issues. You gotta love this sport. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

What is actually wrong with the rig? I know that the CYPRES is gone, but other than that, is there something wrong with it? Just curious. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

We will be staying at a house (for free) a bit north of Tampa right on the Gulf for 3 or 4 nights. It is Laura's grandpa's house, but he'll be in Ohio. Woohoo!! Any info about the actual boogie?? JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Anyone here know anything about the Mardi Gras Boogie at Zhills? Laura and I were thinking about going there during the boogie at the tail end of our trip for about three days. What do you think? If you have been there, let me know what you think of it. The dropzone and the boogie itself. Also, if you have specific info about it, can you please tell me? They don't have a lot of info on their site about it. How much are jumps? What planes? Do I need to register? Thanks all! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
