Hey Clay...you are right, some people are agreeing with you (like me) a lot lately. Hmm....*crying*. Just kidding, bro. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Could you imagine being that tandem student and hanging upside down like that? Or having the TM pull the main and you are handing upside down under canopy? Hmm... JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

I would have to agree with Clay on this one. Those aren't very small holes on the tops of those. Hell, if you are so stuck in there that moving your legs some to let some air enter the toilet to let you loose is not possible, maybe you need to loose some weight. Did the report say anything about it being Rosie O'Donnell or something? She's got "a huge fat ass". JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

I think that me, AggieDave and Viking should have a speed-dive contest where we can only be on our bellies. hehe...that would be pretty sweet. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

I think that is definetely a strap-on. If my wang was flapping and slapping like that, I would NOT be smiling like he was. Just my .02. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Hey man.....I spent 5 weeks in Guanajuato this past summer studying Spanish. The closest place to skydive is Monterrey, but it is a long ass bus ride there. You wont have too many problems not knowing Spanish, but there aren't many people there who speak English. If I were you, I would hold off and do your stuff in the states. What are you doing in Mexico? Anything fun? If you have any questions about Guanajuato, let me know. Spending 5 weeks there let me explore the city and there is some cool stuff there. Later! Yeah, but there are only two "real" parties. D and R. Those other ones are simply "vote stealers" against one of the two. However, do you think there will ever be someone like Perot or Nader in the White House? God, I hope not. Just think if Ralph Nader was in the White House when the WTC thing happened. Not trying to start a flame war here, but do you think that he could have handled it or would have picked a staff of people who could? I don't. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

I think you are supposed to vote Green Bottles. But hey, I'm bi-partisen. I would settle for the Clear Bottles of the South (Corona). JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Blah blah blah.....Nicole Kidman......blah blah blah. Bitch!! SHE is the self-absorbed, I am better than everyone else personality carrier. Tom is better off with her by FAR! Oh...and I got two words for you......Penelope Cruz!! Oh yea! (attachment on the left to see why) JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Hey n2.....is that an ice cream cone between the wings?? Bwhaha!! Just kidding. Cool tat. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

I hear yea PilotDave. There is me, another girl who wants to do the training and then another girl who is going to do AFF this spring. Other than that, everyone says they are going to/want to do it, but, of course, you don't see it happen. It just isn't worth fighting the system to see the club die in less than a year after I graduate. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

I tried to start a skydiving club at my college, but they said NO. It is a small private college with only 3000 students. They pretty much said NO and that was that. Oh well...there wouldn't be enough skydivers anyway. Only a bunch of tandems. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

For the past 10 years all I have bought have been trail running shoes. I have been through about 6 pairs of Adidas Trail Response and Nike AGP (newest pair) shoes. They are super comfy and they last forever and are good to run/walk in anything and have traction. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

INSANITY TEST.....I failed miserably. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Thanks for the info. I would not be wanting to rent anything to the DZ anyway. I would rather use it to skip the 1.5 hr drive there and then jump the BIG planes. Hehe.... JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Clay is right. Don't try to pull all 4 flaps together with one tug. Use it just like you do with the pull-up cords. I have been told numerous times that if you try to pull all 4 flaps together at one time, you can break the stuff in the flaps. Just be careful. Good luck too!! Thanks Mike. Hopefully some of this stuff will work out. I'm excited to start flying. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

The headphones are the David Clark H10-13.4 like you have with the gel ear pads. Do you recommend the stereo, or is the mono OK? Thank you ALL for your information. I love reading about this and getting very experienced opinions. And Quade, I agree with you as well as I dont want to overload myself. I just mean that since I wont be teaching during the summer, I will have a lot of time to study and fly. So, I want to do it and not forget anything, but like you said, not rush it either. Thank you again. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Awesome! Thanks for all your info. That looked like a pretty sweet set-up at Sportys.com. I may have to go down there to the store (you said it was close, right?). I just found a $300 headset on Ebay for $170 that is not even used. Hmm....sounds like renting a headset for training can run upto $110 bucks for 50 hrs. I can buy one for not much more than that. Thank you all very much and I'll let you know when I start aquiring some more stuff. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Thanks for the suggestion Clay. I guess the 172 is one of the staples of flight instruction and is a very common plane. Would you think that would mean it is cheaper for maintainance also? I saw some 172s in the 30-40k range that looked flyable (some in the 20s that were either wrecked and/or missing wings. heh heh heh..... Also, I wonder what kind of money it would cost to get the door converted to "vertical opening". Hmm.....take out the right seat and have two jumpers in the back being comfortable. hehe.... Anymore info is greatly appreciated. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

My wife and I started jumping here in June 2001 and find it to be a wonderful place. Their safety record is flawless and their instructors are all wonderful and extremely helpful. I am glad that I chose this DZ to do our training at and to spend our jumping days here. The staff is awesome, the planes are awesome, and the people there are awesome as well. I couldn't think of going anywhere else.

Thanks Flyboy and Clay.....very good points on that. I never thought the 152 had such a low max weight limit. Jeez....I guess maybe we can start looking for something along the lines of a 152 or something of the sort. What kind of plane would an instructor/experienced pilot recommend buying that would be very good for training, but would be useful for after the training and flying longer distances? Also, something that is cost effective. (I know, this is like talking skydiving as well, but you get my drift...I hope.) Thank you! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

Thanks for the info guys! I will look into some more stuff as far as training literature and stuff of that sort. I like that set on www.sportys.com of the DVD interactive lessons. Do you think that would be a good buy? A plane would be pretty awesome too. One buddy of mine wants to do training also. I may ask him if he'd be interested in going in together on a 152 or something of that sort. I seem to have found that 172s are much more expensive per hour to rent than the 152 and it only offers more power and 2 more seats. What would you need that for in training? Do you think the 152 is better? Thanks again!! JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

I sold my black '99 Jeep Wrangler to skydive. It was costing me $360 per month, so that helps out with this. Other than that, I "sorta" lost some friends and free time. Nothing I regret though. JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.
