PLFXpert...you have the same exact feeling I do. I think that people who believe in God have more courage to do things because we know that He will take us when it is our time. We cannot do anything about it. So, you need to do what you want to do now, because you just might not make it to tomorrow! I am glad that I know where I'm going though if something does happen.

Hey, Speedracer! I wouldn't go looking for the ones on SALE. Remember, there is a reason they are on sale. I am thinking they probably have a pin loose or something. Oh wait, that is common. Hmmmm....

I heard about some of those crazy drivers out there in Cali. I think he was just prepared for a head-on collision. OH S*IT!! A BUS IN MY LANE!! RESERVE, RESERVE, RESERVE!!! it is definetely good to know that I'm not alone. I think I might try some more stuff like standing up in my Jeep at 80mph (not driving) and getting into belly-to-earth. Do you think if I went down a steep hill, that would be a good simulation? I need to get out more. Brandon and Laura http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/ a work in progress

Ok, I am driving home today from classes...the sun is shining, the music's playing, and the windows are down. I had my hand out of the window playing with the wind when I had a great (at the time) idea! I held the steering wheel with my right hand and stuck my whole head, arm, and chest out of the window! Man, it felt like freefall and the view in the rearview showed my cheeks being flickered. It was great! I think that I may get my goggles in my car so I can drive better (eyes open) when I'm doing that. I guess I'm wondering if anyone else does it? (If not, I highly recommend it, although wear some eye protection because 70 mph hurts a bit. Blue ones.. Brandon and Laura http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/ a work in progress

IFLYME sez: Hey man, any help you give me is ALWAYS appreciated! I have talked a lot to VIKING and he's a cool dude. Sometimes typing just is harder to decypher(sp) than speech. But, hey, it's all good! Blues Brandon and Laura http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/ a work in progress -

I am pretty lucky too in the fact that my dad will be doing his first tandem jump 5 May. I can't wait to see his ass looking down at the ground from 13.500. MUHAHAHA!!! Not only that, but my bro (16) and my sis (13) cannot wait to be old enough (and have the $$$) to it. God they are fun! So, is this signing your last jump that you just made to finish out the logbook? Or is is signing the last box in your new book to ensure you make it to that line?? Gracias y cielos azules... Brandon and Laura http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/ a work in progress

thanks for the info skyslut. I have not really heard too much about the training of it, but I've just seen the pros doing it (which makes it look easy). So, I'm sure I'll try it someday when I get more experienced. cielos azules Brandon and Laura http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/ a work in progress

Why I don't jump without a CYPRES
mountainman replied to Freeflylizard's topic in Safety and Training
Do you want to know why you shouldn't jump without your Cypress? Check out Zennie's webpage http://here and click on the Cyprus opening movie in the skydiving section. Remember, this could happen to ANYONE!!! cielos azules Brandon and Laura http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/ a work in progress -
What is this??? I have never heard this saying before. Although, since I only have one tandem in my little, paper logbook, I am not quite ready to have it done. Thanks... Cielos azules... Brandon and Laura http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/ a work in progress
