OK...here is my thought for the "ultimate" DZ camper... -a full bar with full-time bartender -a big screen TV (for watching skydiving videos during the rain) -a large covered porch for packing and/or dirtdiving -plenty of closet space for suits (RW, Freefly, etc...not buisness) -high-speed satellite internet with laptop for posting on dz.com -kitchen with 5 microwaves (cuz I ain't cooking "real" food) What am I missing?? I consider myself "sane" and I would LOVE to walk a wing or jump from in inverted plane. That would mix it up so much, it would be indescribable!! But hey, who am I to say that I'm sane......MUHAHAHA!!!

Hey RHUURRR.....my wife and I did a tandem last Oct and are going to start training this year. We cannot wait!!! I cannot wait to have that feeling of jumping and accomplishment. Don't you agree? It's even better to experience it with someone you love.

I would think that they would get nervous if you take a rig on a airline. I don't know since I don't have one nor never tried. I'll just be repeating what everyone else said, but I am still in awe from when I read this earlier! You really made an impact on me for how prepared you have to be. It seems like all I hear about (mostly that is) is to be ready to deploy your reserve and then float down to safety. But, when you tell about this, it really makes you want to be ready for ANYTHING!! Thanks for sharing and hope to see you on the forum more often!!

That is totally an inverted Skyvan. You can see the ground on the bottom of the pic and the sky on the top. And the top of the bird is definetely facing the ground. I cannot believe this!! Also, check out the pics of riding on top of the plane and jumping off the back!! How cool is that?? Any DZ in the USA do that??? Or a jump plane for that matter??? I actually found a movie online with tube jumping at http://www.freefly.com under the movie section. It looks like when they jump, it is actually collapsed and then it opens up when it fills with air. And when they get around opening alti, they let go, track away and open. Pretty weird watching a tube (with smoke) going down by itself. Check out the movie! It's pretty cool to see it in real action. blue skys NEW AND IMPROVED!!! http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/

Did my first and only jump out of a CASA 212!!! Those are some pretty sweet birds. They have one of those and some other fast planes at SGC. However, the CASA was probalby best one. That's right wingnut...that is the one!! I would LOVE to jump that someday. From the roof. From inverted. From the wing. That is one thing that makes me hate living in the US. We have so many regulations when it comes to stuff like this, it doesn't let us do cool stuff like "the pink" does. Oh well....hopefully I'll make it to Europe sometime for it!! That is awesome that you got your dad go jump. My dad saw my tandem video from last year and said "I gotta do that!". So, he's gonna go in July once my wife and I are on our way to getting our A. I was checking out some random skydiving sites and stumbled on this site. I was looking through their skydiving pictures and came across these. (links below) I am wondering how can I get into jumps like these and do they do stuff like this in the USA?? If not, I am starting to wonder what happened to freedom and all that crap!! This stuff looks like fun!! FYI, I found these pictures here(for legal purposes, I guess): Anyway, any info would be awesome!! I believe that this Skyvan is based in Austria. I would travel to Europe just to jump this bird...especially in these crazy ways.
