  9. WTF??!!?!?!?! ROTFLMFAO!! Hmm....guess I've never heard this saying before.
  10. Speed...you would be VERY suprised to find out who wrote this. It is from a rec.skydiving thread from the earlier 90's. The guy who wrote about this said it is one of this fav things to do. Also, he said that he likes to go up during hot summer days, do a HAHO and have lunch from a fanny pack under canopy. I don't think they would really know unless you had a Bud fannypack or an Igloo cooler strapped on your chest. OOO....how about a Camelbak filled with beer on your back!! Rock on!!!! Execution

I'm really just watchin this thread, but I just want to say that I don't think they should kill him. I think he'll have a much worse time in prison getting A$$ raped 5 times a day than he would by "lethal injection". I would MUCH rather see him get punished over and over daily like the families of the victims are. Nuff said. Flames welcome.

    HELP

Hey there Mr. Anonymous... The last two have said that you need to be 18 to start, however I have seen places that allow you to start at 16 with PARENTAL CONSENT (i.e. a notarized paper/contract). Get yourself a nickname and stuff on here and let us know where you live. Maybe we could help a bit more! Good luck man! MORE SKYDIVING PHOTOS ADDED!!! http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/
  13. As far as that "awesome" feeling goes...I have read from another skydiver once that they jump the sunset load with a fanny pack. When jumpin from 13G, they open there and enjoy the several cans of cerveza that they've put in there and enjoy the 15 min ride down, checkin out the sunset, and enjoying some cold ones.
  14. Are you sure that her address isn't: skybabe321@bright.net?? This is because the internet provider (at least here in western Ohio) is Bright Net and my address was a bright.net before cable came. So, to anyone interested, I believe that the internet address may actually be skybabe321@bright.net If this is incorrect, please let me know! 15. I was kinda being sarcastic. Sorry. The only language that I know other than English is Spanish. That is what I'm going to college for (done in 1 year). I guess the skydiving caught my attention. I'm so weak! MORE SKYDIVING PHOTOS ADDED!!! http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/

  17. Hey all! I am wondering what kind of helmet set-up most freeflyers use. I really like the ones with the side mounted camera instead of the top-mounted. What kind of helmet/camera/casing set-up is most reliable and common? I won't be jumping one anytime soon, but would like to start looking just to get ideas. I was thinking as far as the camera is concerned, since I don't need anything real fancy, a Sony PC-3 would suffice. I just need something digital that I can plug into my 1394 plug (firewire). And as far as helmet/casing goes, what is your ideas? My idea is something like this. Thanks a lot! 18. Can't talk from experience, but I hear a guy at the DZ talking about his trip. He went for two weeks, made 50 jumps, and said that he was a "new" skydiver after that. He said that it was a HUGE help and that he would recommend it to anyone. They are real thorough and helpful and do a lot for you while you are there. Hope this helps a bit.
  19. BUHAHAHAH!!! Good one, dude! However, if I ever hear my name in the same sentence as bowling at the DZ, I'll go ape-$H!T!!
  20. Right on! I was just thinking that this is the BEST thing around. Where else can you log-on and get fast, informative answers within a day without all of the $h!T from rec?? Three cheers (and beers) for sangiro!!! MORE SKYDIVING PHOTOS ADDED!!! http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/
