Thanks for the replys. I ended up ordering and using West systems epoxy. After following the instructions I bonded the two halves of the forearm, gave a light sanding finishing off with 00 grade wire wool then a few coats of True oil, this weekend I'll see if it stands up to the test. Gone fishing

Hi, I've watched all the first series, To tell the truth I found it to slow, the intro is way to long. The general theme is great but the script writers should be put out to stud. If the second series dosen't quicken the pace then I shant bother watching it. Gone fishing

Have you ever thought about emigrating to one of those Muslim countries. you probably wont find a size six but at least you'll be the boss. I'm thinking Afganistan. some little village with only dial up. Gone fishing

Thanks, I looked up Gluvit, pricey stuff. Still cheaper than having a new forearm made. Gone fishing

Anyone here used it, is it really the best thin epoxy glue. above all is it worth the 30€ the shop wants to charge. My forearm split in half right along the two screw holes which hold the iron. Gone fishing

Well this morning I orderd the Escort PS with a 28" barell and a 4" extension. It has to be shipped from Turkey so it'll be about 3 and a bit weeks. 72 hrs to be shipped into the country and 21 days to clear customs Oh well this is Spain after all. Gone fishing

Don't you guys have an 18" minimum law I suppose if you stick 18" down the front of your pants some redneck bitch will go OOOOOOOOOH. I've decided that next springs project will be a sub calibre sub sonic suppressor. I'll probably get the sucker stuck half way down the barrel, But if I don't try I won't know. Gone fishing

Well it made me laugh. I think Brian Johnsons just about took the biscuit in an England v W.Indies test match. "The Batsmans Holding the Bowlers Willey." However there's some cracking double-entendres here,... 1. Pat Glenn, weightlifting commentator - "And this is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning and it was amazing!" 2. New Zealand Rugby Commentator - "Andrew Mehrtens loves it when Daryl Gibson comes inside of him." 3. Ted Walsh - Horse Racing Commentator - "This is really a lovely horse. I once rode her mother." 4. Harry Carpenter at the Oxford-Cambridge boat race 1977 - "Ah, isn't that nice. The wife of the Cambridge President is kissing the Cox of the Oxford crew." 5. US PGA Commentator - "One of the reasons Arnie (Arnold Palmer) is playing so well is that, before each tee shot, his wife takes out his balls and kisses them ..... Oh my god!! What have I just said??" 6. Carenza Lewis about finding food in the Middle Ages on 'Time Team Live' said: "You'd eat beaver if you could get it." 7. A female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked, "So Bob, where's that eight inches you promised me last night?" Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too, because they were laughing so hard! 8. Steve Ryder covering the US Masters: "Ballesteros felt much better today after a 69 yesterday." 9. Clair Frisby talking about a jumbo hot dog on Look North said: "There's nothing like a big hot sausage inside you on a cold night like this." 10 Mike Hallett discussing missed snooker shots on Sky Sports: "Stephen Hendry jumps on Steve Davis's misses every chance he gets." 11. Michael Buerk on watching Phillipa Forrester cuddle up to a male astronomer for warmth during BBC1's UK eclipse coverage remarked: "They seem cold out there, they're rubbing each other and he's only come in his shorts." 12. Ken Brown commentating on golfer Nick Faldo and his caddie ***** Sunneson lining-up shots at the Scottish Open: "Some weeks Nick likes to use *****, other weeks he prefers to do it by himself". Another good one,... James Allen interviewing Ralf Schumacher at a Grand Prix, asked: "What does it feel like being rammed up the backside by Rubens Barrichello?" Gone fishing

Too expensive, plus here in Spain we are not allowed to load more than three shells, one in the breach and two in the tube. Gone fishing

I'm looking for a new toy on the low end of the semi automatic market. I don't really want to spend more than 500€ The choice at the moment is between a Remington SPR453. Baikal MP153 or the Hatsan consort ps I don't want any wooden furniture and it has to be capable of firing 3" magnums ideally I would be able to buy a rifled barrel as an after sales option. I'm being swayed at the moment by the Hatsan with a 61cm barrel as it comes with the option of a 10cm screw in extension and 5 poly chokes at a price of 399€ Anyone have or used any of these guns, opinions Gone fishing

Cutting off all ties with a family member v. have you done it?
Zep replied to npgraphicdesign's topic in The Bonfire
Yes, after my parents passed away I cut all ties with my sisters , step sisters and all family members except chilren from previous marriges, I even went as far as to move to a different country to get away from them. That was twenty years ago and have never looked back. Gone fishing -

So the other day I decided to buy a industrial sized volcanic stone gas run BBQ (60"x45") the thinking behind it was that on week days when we don't have many clients and the workers lunch is cheaper than the weekend menu I'd stop lighting the tradicional wood BBQ and use the gas one. WTF the shit that came off it I would even give to my dogs. I use only prime beef and lamb (which are my own and organically feed) The only way I can see this type of BBQ working is if you smother the meat with some sort of sauce whilst cooking, thus giving the meat an artificial taste. The only thing I can see is that it is a product from hell and the people that use them know F**K ALL about BBQing meat, Gone fishing

No come on, most countries show unedited footage, or at least in the country I live in they do, you really think some thing as important as this your head honch is going to care who he offends, The burial at sea I can understand, and if true a good move. The DNA, well who's going to believe that, only the believers. Remember as most of you are so fond of saying. No video it didn't happen Gone fishing

Nope sorry Bin Laden is alive and kicking, OR he's only allegedly DEAD. after all we only have the word of that person in the white house. And with his refusal to show the photos of the demise of the worlds most wanted terrorist the story will never be put to rest. I fully understand that the North American public must be treated as children and be protected from unsavoury images, but the rest of the grown up world wants to be sure it's not just another political publicity stunt. Did jets win the Battle of England ?? Why change something which ain't broken You're right. It wasn't jets, it was the P-51 Mustang that won the war. Yea but did'nt they have to retro fit then with English engines to do it. Gone fishing
