Ahh come on, any day now the nanny state will introduce laws against fly squatting as cruelity against insects. Gone fishing

Thanks, I looked at Sigs and HKs but I really want some thing beefier and not so modern, seeing as I can only own one hand gun and it will never be used for defence. I've had experience with 1911's and Browning HP's the Baretta is really a trip down memory lane as my father owned a M951 when I was a kid. Gone fishing

No, the EU cannot intervene in a sovereign countries' own gun laws but some misguided British Labour MEP is trying to throw a spanner in the works and have Brussels control gun laws. Switzerland is not a member of the EU, but they did recently have a vote to stop service weapons being kept at home. The gunophobes lost. Gone fishing

John NO modern handgun is allowed to be owned by a citizen in England. I think the two year wait is to apease the sector of people who want handguns kept at all times at a gun club, I agree it is goofy but this is gunophobic Europe Gone fishing

As of yesterday I am legally allowed to have and own a pistol or revolver, my choice is the Beretta 92FS. I studied for the exam which consisted of 40 multiple answer questions of which 36 must be answerd correctly. A live shooting test at the range with all safety requirements being met. Now the small arm must be kept for the next two years at the gun club then after the two year period I can legally keep the small arm at home albeit locked in a gun safe. Being an ex pat this is just one more way I can stick it to the British Government. Gone fishing

That's just sad....when a woman uses sex as a wepon.....it's just sad. I'd rather she used sex as a weapon instead of her damm cold feet, I hate being used as an electric blanket. Gone fishing

As a spin off from the NSFW thread, How many of you guys have really experienced The dreaded Blue balls. In my eairlier years I can remember more than a few times writhing on the floor with an ache so deep for a certain girl /woman that never went away till the mission was acomplished. Do women have a similar reaction, do they see a guy and thier ovaries go into overtime? Gone fishing

i think i started shooting army rifles at age 14. got it to bring it home with me. fully-auto, too! Nice, I started using them at 12.5yrs old but couldn't bring them home. Same here, I started shooting at 14, the British government trusted me to shoot .22's, .303's, 9 mm's and shotguns in the middle of London. That was 40 years ago. How times change Gone fishing

Vorsprung Durch Technik Another turbo after only 186K. Seems you need to learn how to spin up and spin down a turbo, Starting a turbo engine from cold and driving immidiatly is a sure way to reduce it's life, same as stopping the engine after a trip. Turbo's need time to warm up and cool down. Gone fishing

Back in the 80's I heard a instrumental song called "BRUNDY BLACK" (spelling) it was an African drum instrumental by ( I think) Brundy Stevenson Black. I've searched every where but can't find it, Anyone remember it or know where I can find it. Gone fishing

Ok, to cut a long story short I just got the barrels back from the gunsmith. The problem was a badly machined choke. I have no recourse to the original maker as they went out of buisness over ten years ago, and it was never a best gun to start with. Because of Spanish laws I am not allowed to cut the barrels down. I have managed to find a set of second hand barrels but with a small problem one of the ejectors is a little bent and it has a tendancy of riding over the shell casing instead of ejecting it. I do find it a little interesting that a trap gun has ejectors instead of expulsors as a lot of trap shooters I know reload thier own. Anyway I'm not familiar with the ejector system and need to release it to eaither repair or order a replacement, So here are some photos, anyone familiar with this system and know how to release the ejector Gone fishing

+1 I think deep with in us we all have that kind selfless courage, some of us just have to dig deeper to find it. LEST WE FORGET God of our fathers, known of old— Lord of our far-flung battle line— Beneath whose awful hand we hold Dominion over palm and pine— Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet, Lest we forget—lest we forget! The tumult and the shouting dies— The Captains and the Kings depart— Still stands Thine ancient sacrifice, An humble and a contrite heart. Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet, Lest we forget—lest we forget! Far-called our navies melt away— On dune and headland sinks the fire— Lo, all our pomp of yesterday Is one with Nineveh and Tyre! Judge of the Nations, spare us yet, Lest we forget—lest we forget! If, drunk with sight of power, we loose Wild tongues that have not Thee in awe— Such boastings as the Gentiles use, Or lesser breeds without the Law— Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet, Lest we forget—lest we forget! For heathen heart that puts her trust In reeking tube and iron shard— All valiant dust that builds on dust, And guarding calls not Thee to guard. For frantic boast and foolish word, Thy Mercy on Thy People, Lord! Amen. Gone fishing

Well never had an R6 so I can't really mourn your pending loss Last bike I had was a GSX 1100 EZ with only two speeds. I sold it when I grew up enough to realise it was either the bike or me. I respect a person that could own a machine like that and have what it takes to respect the speed limits imposed. Gone fishing
