  1. Isn’t it amazing that this comes out just before the election? I’m sure it’s just a coincidence. We can probably expect some new dirt on McCain to come out this weekend as well.
  2. The last Coyote I killed was about five years ago. I used a Lear Jet. I'm serious!
  3. There has been one at AirVenture in Oshkosh for the last few years. It sure is an interesting design.
  4. Thanks for posting this Pat! It was a nice read. I really enjoy hearing from those who were there in the begining. It seems that we are getting more of these people coming out of the woodwork.
  5. #14 is the late Pat Vally on the left with her all female demo team.
  6. One of the best sayings I have ever heard in this sport is- "In Skydiving there are no strangers, just friends who haven't met yet."
  7. I happened to be out there two years ago and got to see some of it. It's pretty amazing. Seeing it on video doesn't do it justice.
  8. I never knew Robert Murphy. But in a way we all know him. Late last year I went to a dinner and talk with US Army Paratroopers who jumped into France on D-day. It was riveting listening to them talk about their jumps that fateful night. I heard everything from a normal flight in and jump; to the aircraft being hit with antiaircraft fire and everyone running out while it descended on fire. Some ran out too late. Even though most of these men never made a sport jump in their latter years, they were the core of people that spun off the few in the USA that helped develop our sport in its very infancy. We are losing all our veterans of WWII at an accelerating pace. I will miss you Robert.
  9. The fuzzy face made that too easy...what kinda plane wing are they standing on? Me thinks SR-71. You cheater! Me no cheat! I wasn't even there! I don't think I was even born then. BTW, I've made over 50 jumps since we last saw each other. Trust me!

  11. I've heard of this accident over the years. Can one of you that knows it first or second hand please refresh everyone on what happened? Maybe your response should be move to Skydiving History & Trivia.
  12. Trojans versus Cocks? Oh my, the sports writers would have a field day with the implications. Which is better, cocks or condoms? Would the Trojans defense render the Cocks offense impotent, or would the Cocks rip through the Trojans and score big time?
  13. yep, you have got to love a bunch of cheerleaders with "Go Cocks" printed on their butts Isn’t it quite a coincidence that the “left coast USC” is called the Trojans? I wonder what their cheerleaders have written on their butts? And what would happen if these two teams played each other?

    CERN Rap

I think you made a typo. Isn't it- (THE LARGE HARD ON COLLIDER) ? Doesn't sound like fun.
  15. OK sports fans. In the battle between our two foes, the score is now- Hooper 1, Bad Taste 0 And were off to round two! You Rock Jim!!!
  16. See you mid-week. Can you say Acey-Ducey?
  17. I suggest you use a tongue condom. BTW, do they have a buffet?
  18. All this back and forth banter is healthy. But both sides can’t disagree that the National Guard has never been contemplated being called up by the powers that be, due to legal gun owners. That is all. Carry on.
  19. And just to clairify, the 00's that are used in jh00per in his e-mail address are the numerals zero zero, NOT capital O's.
  20. I want to add Cath McCormick from Scotland and Carl Arnenburg from Norway. Also looks like Dane Kenny was one of the Symbi guys.
  21. This sucks. I worked for and ocassionally flew with Scotts cousin Doug Kalitta for almost seven years. They are all good people. My heart is sad right now.
  22. Yeah, you have to remember that back then he saved us from all those WMD's. That was a really close call! Now he can focus on Osama and go out with an even better legacy.
