That's partially true. I have XP 32-bit and I have 4GB RAM installed... only 3GB of it is accessible. So I'm wasting 1GB. I originally had 2GB but had the opportunity to buy 2GB more for only $25 after rebates so even with half of the RAM being wasted, it was still worth it. I could easily upgrade to 64-bit if I wanted, but it's not that important to me. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

When I set up all the keyhole patterns on my helmet's top plate, as well as the screw hole patterns on the camera mounting plates, I had all the plates covered in masking tape and had huge grids drawn up with T-squares and a really sharp pencil. I measured everything really precisely... I spent half a day just making all these marks. Once I knew where I wanted everything I got out the punch to start all my holes, and then started drilling. I had to be super accurate because of how the keyhole slots work. The time and effort paid off... it all fits perfect and the cameras aim within about 2 degrees of each other by my estimation (not perfect, but about as close as you can hope to get by hand). And the plates are interchangeable throughout the pattern of keyhole slots, which was the one thing I wasn't sure I'd be able to achieve. There were some tight fits with certain configurations, but after a lot of sliding in and out, the slots loosened up. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

On my CCM, I used a #10 flush head screw (the hole in the bottom of the camera is .190") which I screwed into a countersunk hole on the bottom of the plate. This only worked though because my plate is ridiculously thick (.200"). Even then there is only 1 thread engaged. With a thinner plate you could use the same setup and just bond the screw in place with epoxy. I had to use a flush screw since my plate is just for the camera, and sits on top of the helmet's top plate, flush. Or, you could just drill a thru hole and bond (or press) a simple 3/16" pin into it. See pictures. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Music Rescue Or, you just browse the iPod as a disk and you will find ALL your mp3's lumped into 50 folders with encrypted names, but intact ID3 tags. You can then use a batch tagger (there are MANY out there... mp3tag, tagscanner, etc) to rename the filenames based on the tags. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Last year Norman Kent wanted to pay me for backfly coaching... and I was astounded and thanked him, but I recommended he go to Jeff instead (since 90% of his freefall time is probably spent backflying, and I don't by any means consider myself a "great" backflyer). www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Matt used to be good at what he did but then he moved to Texas which will make him a pot stirring worthless TWAT - if he follows suit with the rest of the Texicans I'll never be as good as you, Jason. So is the top TWAT called a TWAT-I/E? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

That's simply not true. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Tony, not keen on changing his design? HA! www.WingsuitPhotos.com

It's not actually all that "common." I got into an argument on here with a skydiver with 6000 jumps who said that a video of me going over the tail of a Skyvan was an optical illusion, or the pilot was diving, since that is impossible. This guy was also an airplane pilot himself so you'd think (hope) he would understand the basics. Since it is apparently not common sense that you can go up on a wingsuit exit... that is where the instruction comes into play. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

My brain's worth way more than $1.49. Don't you have a premium version or something? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Cosmic noise you say?!?! How much money do I need to spend to protect myself from this? (pulls out wallet) www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Hmm, where's the master list of top pilots? I'd like to check and see if I'm on it. How does one go about getting on that list? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Very funny, Phil. Nice video overall, gotta love the ATDI in the soundtrack too. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

5/8" drill bits are expensive... I use a 5/8" countersink. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I only made 6 jumps in 3 days, due to the weather, but there were still some nice formations and I got a few nice photos. BANG!

Haha, I thought you might be serious before I clicked the link. Monoprice for the win... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Nah, it flew for a least a minute or two before he got out. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I'm not sure what "pro type body" means, but I prefer a small camera since it is easier to transport nearly anywhere. And true professional photographers aren't using 20D's OR 400D's. As far as being a klutz... I've carried my 350D through the mountains, in front of giant misty waterfalls, and many other crazy places, never dropped it or damaged it environmentally in any other way. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Ditto. Glad to see somebody else say this. To the others who disagree with this, what is a specific example of something a 20D can do (on the ground) that a 400D can't do? www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Read the wording. Good instructors don't charge "a lot" of money. As in a ridiculously high amount. As in too much. Now that instruction is available, it would be pretty stupid to not take advantage of that and try to figure it out on your own. Maybe not fatal or even too dangerous, but certainly not the smartest choice. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
