  1. Your system sounds cool in theory, but the video shown there could have been made with a simple ringsight, and isn't a really good advertisement for your unique system. Why don't you show what the frame on your goggles looks like? www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  2. What the hell? Both the metalheads approved my punk rock? Damnit. I like to hear you guys whine "use more metal!" www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  3. This year's video is a lot shorter than usual since the weather limited our jumping. But there is still some good flocking footage, and a lot of other funny stuff. Enjoy!

  5. I'm not sure who the Red Devils are, but those are some very nice, crisp photos.
  6. Yup, good stuff. You've heard her work with Frou Frou as well, right? www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  7. It scared me. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  8. My original S3 (regular ZP everything) has over 500 jumps on it and no serious wear and tear. But I am very careful with it. I have a new Parapack 420 Super Mach 111, but I am not looking forward to wearing it in the summer. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  9. Something more than Photoshop I'd imagine. Dan does hardcore graphic design (if that's the right term for it)... he creates entire worlds from nothing... like the CG you see in movies. Although I think he used a real photo of himself as part of this picture. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  10. I have submitted a file via the DZ.com upload. It was a true 16:9 widescreen media file, and now in the DZ.com viewer it is stretched vertically to fit 4:3. Is there any easy way to fix this? Or should I just re-render it as a 4:3 letterboxed? www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  11. I'll bet you were waiting the whole way home to type that one out... www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  12. No vignetting, not much zoom either (about as much as with a Royal). www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  13. That's what burbles are for. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  14. "Qualified" and "$80 per jump" have nothing to do with each other. And as to the guy, he could be qualified, he could not. When I had 400 skydives (200 WS) I took up a couple dozen students at WFFC as a BMI. Most of them are still jumping wingsuits now. I think they'd tell you I did ok. Does this mean that # is ok? Not necessarily. It's not my call to make. But if the USPA wanted to make a call on how many jumps/flights you needed to have to take wingsuit students, you can bet I would obey that number. But right now that doesn't exist as far as I know, so both students and instructors have to use their best judgment (which they should always be using anyway, even when numerical limits are in place!). www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  15. I'm not sure what you "need," but I have a C2D 6400, 4GB RAM (3GB usable in XP 32-bit) and a 8800GT (though the main reason I have all that is for gaming, not for editing). It's pretty easy to edit, but it is noticeably slower than with SD. I have to make my live preview pretty low quality if I want it to be smooth. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  16. Yeh, it was filmed in 1080i, but rendered here in 480p. Can't comment on the fallrate, I'm just the photographer. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  17. Oh... my... god. I made the video, and I didn't even realize that. I was scratching my head trying to figure out how he was propellering up. Yes, of course, it's backwards. I am S-M-R-T. P.S. I'm guessing it's Zach. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  18. Finally finished editing this one. Lots of nice flocks and scenery this year.
  19. Well said, Ralph. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  20. He can't count past 10? What about the guy Tyler that was at one of the recent Z-Flocks? Doesn't he live around here? www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  21. It's beyond my understanding but I have a few friends who make their living in the computing field (Western Digital, Google, etc) and they have all told me the same thing (3.5GB - video RAM = available RAM in 32-bit). This holds true in my experience... I have 500MB video RAM and 3GB available RAM in XP 32-bit. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  22. Hey, maybe Texas doesn't suck as much as I thought. I'll be there! 1. Jenn Hinson 2. Matt Hoover Anybody else? www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  23. Vista 32-bit will "see" that all 4GB is installed, but if you look at your available RAM in the task manager performance tab, you will see that your total available system RAM is 3.5GB minus your video card RAM. Same as XP. It's a limitation of 32-bit. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
