That's not humour, that's simply tastelessness. lack of instinct. dudeist skydiver # 3105

I remember this as fllws: superkallifragelistischextraallegorisch..... learned it from other fools in school and much to my surprise, never forgot this. in ancient times, this was a German song (for sure, not a No. 1) It's like a worm in brain, how could this survive? dudeist skydiver # 3105

You are absolutely right! WISE decision, especially as shoulder injury is never recovering by itself. After arthroscopy, stopped for 3 months, started skydiving again, arm popped out several times (falling down while jogging, starting skydiving with a tandem: popped out), finally agreed to proposal of my doc: Traditional operation, repairing all (like you sad rotator etc.), torn muscle--- Lost one complete year. Today I simply trust in my shoulder, never had problems again. @ htrip: Like to repeat what freadydiver said: ...WISEST decision...... absolutely true!! Do not mess around, you only lose time. Wish you the best dudeist skydiver # 3105

OK, it's a Walther ... enjoy it! Reply in German and I will let you know what you spelled incorrectly. But your are not capable, right? hey, deadly knives: This already is a part of new laws, you know! also in schools, this is a point of discussion. Try to make my reply ridiculous, I don't mind that. I really prefer to be here in considerable safe country. I love to live here. dudeist skydiver # 3105

You'r right on that point. The other point you forgot to mention is as fllws (it's simple mind, but hey, so important!) : The less people own guns ('cause they failed examinations, tests, permission declined for what reasons soever), the more other human beings will live. this simply is a math calculation. Even I said thread is boring, would like to explain another point: The normal failure rate at applicants on hunter's license could vary between 35 and 60 percent. Years ago, when I made my license, the failure rate was around 50 percent (and in this: 2/3 of women failed but this is another story). During this period of hardest learning, training for about 9 months, I saw several applicants I deeply did hop they never will be allowed to touch any gun. This is little bit to be compared with the young, bold skydivers: These were young (often drunk) "bold hunters". Thank goodness!, after failing final tests, they did never return to try again (it's simply too expensive). Just to consider one of these thoughtless idiots keeps a gun in his hands while he's drunken and feeling like John Wayne. (Pls do not forget: For someone over here holding a gun, a hand-gun in his hands, this must be a John Wayne-feeling! It is so rare, so special, meeting people which own guns! Only in the very first year, I proudly presented my newest conquest of a gun to closest family and friends. I will never forget the shocked faces of "whuffoes", believe me! Never did it again) That's an important point (I mean these idiots). Prevented by gun control law (-right). This of course does not imply hunters are not drinking! They are, and me too when there are hunters' parties. But there still is a big difference which is to be found in the applicant itself. I am sure you know what I mean. You say only and only positive effect ? How many lifes will be saved only by this ? your above text sounds like one of the quacks, I saw Saturday afternoon when I bought flowers for my mother, where I met my big boy buying flowers for his mother.... just the imagination, that one of the hundreds of people on this crowded market (food, flowers, fish, a colourful market!) would carry a hand gun, and in case, he's stoned and not satisfied with the price of a chicken, he just will shoot around, aim to everybody, kill one or more people, probably my own sun??? Only because his "birth given right" allows him to carry a S & M or a Walter PPK or something else?? No, Kennedy, I prefer to know that not every fool (foll is not addressed to someone specific, it's just to mention) has access to a weapon. this is why I appreciate our laws. enjoy your own interpretation and walk around with your gun(s) There are worlds between your and my country and minds, I'm afraid. I think this thread is dead, starting to get boring. There are so many others, it seems guns somehow are treated like toys! Weird. Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105

Heaven, you insist on that ! OK. If a criminal one wants a gun, he will get it. This is one side. The other one is: We do not have your basic right to own a weapon. so fundamental problem is missing here. (Which I consider as the biggest one and I am happy we do not face) starting-point at our weapon law (better: weapon "right") is referring mainly to legalized weapons, their regulations, restrictions. Legalized weapon owners mainly are hunters (licensed), sport shooters and in few cases endangeroud persons. Mainly caused by the weapon murder case in Erfurt, our law has been intensified on controlling (at applicants): possession of arms, their personal suitability; quicker/easier access to Federal Central Register to collect any information needed on that applicant. Restricted amount of owning hand guns is common. Except hunters (which already proofed their suitability during months and months of training, learning, examinations), sport shooters f. e. which did not reach the age of 25 have to present a medical-psychological investigation. for this group of applicants, the age limit is increased to 21 (before: 18). Furthermore, signal, gas and similar weapons are restricted. as at nearly 50 percent of offences (heavy crime cases) these types of weapons are used. A so called "small gun-license" is installed and has to be applied on and this also refers to alarm shot pistols. Licensed hunters below 21 years have to be joined by an adult licensed hunter while hunting. Pump guns are illicit and prohibited. These weapons are considered als the classical "lower world " weapons and are not used for hunting or sports. The list of adapted points is much longer. Just take into consideration the basic difference between US und Germany: Our average citizen is not growing up with a gun. Has no easy access to a gun just in the shop next door. Our laws are installed accordingly. As I am a licensed hunter, i agree with our law (better: right) and feel comfortable. (Even though I feel better to know I have a gun in my home ) Anyhow, I feel sure this is not what you wanted to here. Blame it on misunderstanding in language. Weapon law cannot get black market under control. Neither here nor overseas. But I appreciate it's so damned hard to get a weapon in hands on legal ways. dudeist skydiver # 3105

what is it converted into mid-European measurements? Just curious dudeist skydiver # 3105

Dear peacefullyjeffrey... do not try to get through. I am German, I am European. It seems there is big big gap between your and my way of thinking. This already starts as in my opinion it is absolutely unimaginable to raise up my child(ren) together with guns. In your country, it seems to be normal. So, just stop trying to convince me. I am traditional on that. "That person".. ... is looking back on my education: I feel sure there is no intellecutal lack. I am proud about my education, my studies, my titles, whatever you want. I do appreciate the chances I had in Germany and Canada. There were so many places in the world I lived in, that really opens the eyes. Just try. You will learn. Guy, anyhow I don't mind. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Hey! I do love this kind of clothes and use it! As you know, we do not have this kind of fox hunting over here. It's just like dragging hunt over a certain prepared distance which is not touching any private property. I love to wear the red or black jacket, my plastron, simply the complete riding habit! I think it t looks good. So, your pic could be little larger! dudeist skydiver # 3105

This is the real connoisseur, giving here good advices.. Go back home and set up barbed wire around ... whatever you want. But don't do it somewhere else. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Hi, just tried, sent an Email, was working, thx a lot! Background is modified a little bit? White and grey? Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105

No way. Like many laws, this one has to be improved according to changes in our own country and abroad. Political changings f.e. ? Not every law set up years ago will cover present situation. Why don't you spend your energy to figure out exact dates about your country and let me know? dudeist skydiver # 3105

JohnRich: This answer is a good one. And just now see it related to all crimes happening in the world. We cannot control every felony happening everywhere, how the hell will you prevent anything? So, we simply created laws. Even they are not accepted by everyone or simply will not work on everything. That's it in my opinion. And that's why i always will support the laws. dudeist skydiver # 3105
-
JohnRich, be unbiased from time to time: This has been discussed in another thread (one of your lovely weapon threads). no matter how hard you try, you cannot control any black market, especially the gun black market. Do not blame gun control laws on that. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Hi, as soon as I enter the Email function, this is showing up: Internet Explorer Script Error, Page..... I am unable to read Emails. What might that be? Help, pls, thks, dudeist skydiver # 3105

Dear friend of guns, in fact : NO. On gun controls, you are in the active process. Regarding black market development, you are the passive part. 2 different procedures which cannot be combined. You will never change my opinion on that. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Holy Moses, what a bundled attack on me, Germany "and so many other countries"! No comment on that, I just refer to my post No. 23. re 2, last sentence: I should have added this smiley , perhaps you would have seen the irony. BTW: Our gun control laws work. Black markets cannot be controlled. Not even in Germany dudeist skydiver # 3105

1 - Poorly to notice that the our past still is an argument in present times. Deal with your own past. 2 - The sad story of school boy killing so many others is one of the very rare gun crime cases. Perhaps, this boy saw too many old Schwarzenegger movies? 3 - Gun laws cannot be strict enough. Our law. Watch you own and see the results. @ Juanesky, post No. 21: Your one-liner simply is nonsens and shows a frightening lack of knowlege. dudeist skydiver # 3105
