Ditto. Another thing, without Talk Back, General Skydiving Discussions will probably slowly evolve into Talk Back anyway. People are going to talk about what they want to talk about, whether there is a place for it or not. Already today I saw one new thread in there that started out "this should probably be in Talk Back, but..." Just my half a cent worth o' shit. The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!

It's not really a skydiving site as much as a BASE Site, but I really like reading the stuff on the World Fatality Database: http://hometown.aol.com/base194/myhomepage/base_fatality_list Call me morbid, but it just kinda puts me in a somber mood and reminds me how dangerous the stuff we do is...which I think is a good thing. I just got off of a 2 month layoff (at which point I only had 14 jumps). I was scared to death about jumping again, but I'll tell you something that completely put me at ease before I went back up: Tunnel Time. Might be worth a shot. Cheers. The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!

Bingo. Be mindful of the fact that I know absolutely nothing before you read this: But I graduated from AFF about 5 days after I started on Level I. I think I did much better than I would have if I had waited and only done like one jump every weekend or something. Either way, best of luck to you. In 3rd grade, a bunch of us were singing that song "Banana banana fo fanna, me my mo manna, banana" (know the one I mean? where you can interchange any word you want). Well anyway, one of the little devilish bastards in the class goes, try it with the word "truck". So I'm like "truck truck bo buck, banana fanna fo fuck me my mo muck...truck". And everyone started laughing/gasping, yet I had no idea what I did wrong until I asked some kid at recess why everyone laughed at me. That was the day I learned the "f-word" 3rd grade...apparantly most kids learn it earlier than that?!? The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!! -
I have a Nokia, and I play skydiver all the time. It's a great game. You can pull at like 50 feet and be fully inflated a split second later!!! WOOHOO!!! The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!

I made this list up like 6 months ago...let's see here: Save Someone's Life-Not Yet Walk on at least four continents-One down three to go. Make at least one BASE Jump-Not yet Do a stint in the military-Not yet Get a Master's Degree-Not yet Run a Marathon-Eh...I'll get to it someday Bench Press my own weight-SOOOO Close, should be within the year Live at least one year in Florida or Cali-No problem here...thought I haven't done it yet Go to at least one Super Bowl-Not Yet Go to at least one World Series Game-Not Yet Run for a political office, and lose-Not yet Jump from a balloon-Not yet Jump from 30,000 ft + AGL-Not yet Live to 100+-Hey...a guy can try. I don't think anyone has started em yet...don't mind if I do. 0:1:2 Made my first jump at Skydive Richmond today. Awesome coach dive with Don "Brew" Brewer. Jason Yasuda lurked us and did some freeflyin around us. That was the first time I had ever seen someone freeflying before while in freefall. VERY cool stuff to see! I was like "woah...how's he do that?!?" And you? The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!
