  9. Hi BD Do you know if the rigs had quick ejectors on the chest strap and leg straps.? From one of the landing sequences on video it looked like Mr Stokes would land going into full brakes so his hands were already moving in the direction of the quick ejectors on the leg straps. Also were the loose ends of the harness webbing tacked down so Jay didn't have to worry about making any harness adjustments? R.i.P. R.I.P.

  12. Reincarnation? I want to come back as a inside dog with a real nice owner. I can lick myself, whenever I want my master will feed, water and bath me and I'll be their best friend and learn lots of tricks. My Luck I'll come back as a dog chained to a rusty bumper in a junk yard, kicked every day outside rain or shine, Fed only when someone tries to climb over the fence at night, drinking rain water out of a rusty hub cap. R.I.P.
  13. According to the owner it left Vienna in a box Case solved: Postal worker stole the box and left the rig befor going postal. Note to self: do not mail rig in a nice box, Attach name and address to rig inside box just in case the box thief strikes again. Insure the rig for all its worth before shipping R.I.P.

  15. We found out the hard way that a light rain on the ground in the winter time was actually snow at 2-3K Flying thru the snow and watching it collect inside the cells of the canopy was a new experience for us. When we landed we also found some ice had collected on the leading edge of the canopy and fell off on landing. Still don't know how much snow inside the canopy it would take to affect canopy performance and wouldn't want to find out. R.I.P.

  17. How was Agent-Orange delivered during vietnam? Was it sprayed direct from aircraft or was there some area delivery munition for it? Sprayed by C-123 acft flying in V formation low and slow. Mission was called "ranch hand" Don't know about acft loss's from enemy fire. But nam was pre stinger type weapons. Agent orange contained trace amounts of dioxen and probably caused more death's to air crews over the long term then by direct enemy fire. R.I.P.

  20. Hi Mr2 The us will continue to buy oil on the world maket as long as it's less expensive than producing our own. The oil found in the gulf will continue to increase in value as we continue to consume the less expensive oil. One side of the equation that hasn't been addressed is the shortage of refineing capacity in the US. Unless we start the the permitting/construction process now, we'll still take it in the shorts everytime there's a interuption in the refining process regardless of where we get the raw product. R.I.P.
  21. Hi 777 I think he was the one, and also stated the oil reserve stockpiles. I think the problem was/is that most of the inexpensive sources of oil have already been developed During the first spike in oil prices and the shortage in supplies (opec induced) The increase in the price of oil made economic sense to explore and develope new resources. Opec then increased the supply of oil which drove the price down and made it less cost effective to develope new resources of oil. This resulted in a lot of oil rigs sittting idle and unemployement in the oil industry. The new oil supply discovered in the gulf is going to be very expensive to develope due to its depth and location and will only be cost effective to develope if the price of oil maintains a certain level, sadly OPEC Can still control the price by controlling the supply of their cheap oil. Price is controlled by the law of supply and demand R.I.P.
  22. Are you talking about this aircraft? We did a google on the airplane and found a pic showing a wide inflight door behind the passenger door. Not sure about the series, When in doubt Google R.I.P.
