Just like the popularity of a belief in God. I agree with you. PcCoder.net

Given the terrorist threat that we have according to the Bush administration, I find it interesting that he would assume he can ever leave his post while in office. PcCoder.net

And...they are ignorant enough to vote for him thinking he gives a damn about helping them or making their lives easier. PcCoder.net

I'd 2nd that. PcCoder.net

The president of the USA is a 24/7/365 job. He is not entitled to the same level of rest as the majority of the working class. Yes, he should get an occasional break, but come on, he's had a lot of time off during his presidency. But of course, "It's hard work" as he so eloquently puts it. PcCoder.net

It's too late for that, the election has shown us that too many dumb people have already been breeding. According to the "Daily Mirror", a London Publication... "How can 59 million people be so DUMB?" PcCoder.net

Could it be that all the antimocity and arguing, disagreements, split views, etc. is exactly what Osama and all his buddies over there in the Middle East have wanted from the start? As divided as we have become, could it be that was his hope all along? PcCoder.net

Off to Camp David for vacation this weekend. PcCoder.net

I remember back when I was a child in the mid 80's watching a Nostradamus video where it depicted a 25+ year war in the middle east. No slamming me allowed on this one! Just out of curiousity, anyone else see that video? I am not saying we are headed that way, not saying we aren't (even though we've been involved militarily since 1990 with the middle east). Should I just go ahead and say let the argument begin?

Thanks for assisting me with both my math and my grammer. Now I feel smarter. Everyone has to be right. Bottom line, the country is split on core issues. These issues may end up being the demise of our "Rome" mentality. PcCoder.net

I did not say the closest. I said one of the closest. Please read more carefully before putting words in my mouth. And 2004 is not showing a clear majority, unless of course you believe that just over 50% is a clear majority. I have always thought a majority is more like upwards of 65% to 70% and beyond. When it's just about 50/50 (and it is very close to that) you do not have a "clear" majority. Additionally, the 50/50 showing in 2000 also displays how there is no clear majority in our country about where or how we should proceed. We would have known without any worry of being wrong LAST NIGHT if there was a clear majority. Not to say Bush won't win. I believe he did get a majority (more than 50%). But clear? Overwhelming? Pulse of the masses? Not sure about that one. PcCoder.net

I agree that things are certainly leaning towards "out of hand" and this should be considering a serious enough thing for everyone to think about. PcCoder.net

I disagree, I believe the congress holds ALOT more clout than the american people (and in my analogy IS the crew). But, regardless, you know how I feel and I know how you feel.
-
However, if we keep allowing leaders to rapidly destroy our country, there will be nothing left in the future in which to make changes. It's like being in a ship headed directly for an iceberg and having two captains who disagree on the way the ship should be directed. The crew votes on which captain should navigate. However, a few others don't like either captain and decide to vote on yet another captain (who is probably a better choice); however he/she will not be able to get to the ship before it crashes. You are still wasting your vote in this case. Unfortunately, Idealists never win in the end. PcCoder.net

Less than half, half, whatever. It's still just about the closest race in the history of our nation. It's still damn near half. You'd be saying the same thing if the tables were turned. Noone has a clear stronghold. When the nation is this divided, it should be a wakeup call that a VERY large number of people (almost half to make you feel better) do not agree with his decisions or capability as a leader. I mean, jeez, we are all in here debating this so heavily even now. Do you think it could be because we do not agree? PcCoder.net

Bashing or not (and it's not a good thing to bash), but still, half the country doesn't want him. Time will tell if he was a good choice. PcCoder.net

To anyone who didn't vote for either of the two who had a legitimate chance of winning (Bush or Kerry), I understand what you are trying to say, but you probably wasted a vote which could have been used to remove our current dictator from office. Don't get me wrong, I understand and feel very similar in that often (if not almost all the time) both candidates aren't the answer. But, let's get down to it, noone will ever be THE answer. So, to make an effective difference given today's system, vote for someone who CAN win, not someone who takes a vote away from someone who can win. Last election (2000) there was one state (can't remember exactly which) where Nader collected 24,000 votes and Al Gore had 7000 votes less than Bush. It was determined that had Al Gore picked up those 7001 votes from the Nader stack, Al Gore would have been president instead of Bush. These 3rd and 4th party votes do make a difference, I am not sure they are making the difference you are hoping they will. PcCoder.net

I agree with the remark made that you shouldn't be bashing the Democrats. And... winning by 3 million when the numbers are in the 50 millions isn't a landslide by any stretch. This election has shown me that the country is still just as split in their beliefs as they were before the election. The truly unfortunate thing is that if Kerry had won, he would have had enormous trouble being effective given that half the country didn't want him either. So, I don't see our country being pulled together in blissfull happiness any time soon. We are very divided, and not in way that this election or its results will be able to fix. PcCoder.net

your responses have been very clear. you do not have an open mind. that is unfortunate. please do not try to be an amateur pyschologist with me. the post was to ask nothing more than DID ANYONE ELSE HEAR ABOUT THIS?????? Not, bash me, tell me I am ignorant or anything else like that. God, people can be so quick to fight and prove their point that they don't take the time to do anything but that. You'd think that by some of the responses I have received that some of you were blowing George Bush and were personally insulted that the taste on your lips isn't kosher. PcCoder.net

You know, like you said, who knows what ever really happened. But food for thought... The best way to get away with something is to get people to BELIEVE that whatever you did is so inconceivable that they'd never falter in their faith that you would NOT do it. Most people are too short minded to see past what they expect, and to have an open enough mind to accept the unexpected. Regardless of true or untrue, their is so much mystery and wierdness revolving around our current administration that you'd have to be a fool to not stop and wonder. PcCoder.net

Exactly!!! We don't care about him. He only orchestrated the attacks of 9/11 (what a joke). But, we're not interested in showing the world that when you do this, we KILL you. PcCoder.net

My father works for the US Governemnt; the DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) to be exact. He has worked with this agency for 33 years. He informs me that your statement about them being the only contractor with the means to do this is inaccurate. PcCoder.net

Thank you. Not one of you knows me personally; however you have not held back your comments about how stupid I must be, or what a loser I am. Is that really necessary? Sorry if I made it seem that I am special by getting this information. Didn't mean to. I am not. A guy was going door to door yesteray passing out information to people and wanted to know if I had heard about this. My post was simply wanting to know if anyone else on dropzone.com had seen the same. The hand delivered comment was just to say that someone was actually taking the time to go door to door and hand out this information. And no, it wasn't some young child. It was a well dressed, middle aged white male. So, I took the time to listen and read what he had to present. Maybe you should too before laying all these insults on me. Maybe this is a communist country we are living in since I can't even make a comment without being slammed. Where's the freedom in that? Jeez. I guess it's a good thing I didn't post "I have proof that there is a God" Here is the URL on the literature I got yesterday. http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/september2004/130904hiltontranscript.htm And, I am working today, so if I don't respond to anymore comments today, that is why. I will check again either at lunch or this evening. PcCoder.net

I was hand delivered some very interesting information today regarding evidence someone has which would provide overwilming proof that George Bush and his administration was not only responsible but PLANNED 9/11!!! Has anyone else heard or seen anything like this? PcCoder.net
