Why would anyone print a logo on a reserve? I thought all reserves were 1 color (as opposed to 2 or more colors). (im new)

Couldn’t of been too bad if you when ahead with the second nipple. I have only had two experiences that I can call painful. (1) 10g orbit done with 8g needles. After the first hole is done and the ring is in, they have to move it around, over the outer ridge of the ear, to check the alignment and mark where the second hole should be place. Not that bad, I did it twice. (2) Having my tongue stretched to go from a 4g to a 2g. (I only wear a 12 or 14 now...but I rarely wear it at all) I used to wear 2g flesh tunnels in my ears, but I kept on losing my earrings when putting my helmet on. I really miss them.

Just think of the wierd ass numbering system I could have come up with.. Its great fun when out drinking though.. really messes with peoples heads when they are drunk. Would the awnser you came up with really be wrong? The only reason we count in base 10 is because we have 10 fingers. If we had 8 fingers on each hand, would we all count in hexidecimal, if we all had 12 toes we would count in duodecimal? I think we would. (FYI, this is the coolest thing i have seen since whenever! ) -
If your local packy still has it, Harpoon winterwarm.

Engineer’s advice, take it for what it is worth. After 103/104° you run the risk of going into seizures Children can go higher. Run a bath with cold water or sit the shower take aspirin. Sugar (gator aide/juice) can dehydrate you more. Pedialite is good. No pedialye? ... This is cheaper anyways: Electrolyte Drink: Ingredients 4 cups water 1/2-teaspoon baking soda 1/2-teaspoon salt 3 Tablespoons sugar 1/2 packet Sugar-Free Kool-Aid or 2 packets sugar free jello Mix all until disolved. Store in the refrigerator. Throw away any remaining after 1 week. You can also freeze some in ice cubes to use later, or keep drinks cold. (psst, you can drink this to prevent hangovers some times )

there is a show on NBC right now about an austrian skydiver/base jumper that also jump with a ridgid wing edited to add: it not just on jumping. they are showing other things.

I only have a few jumps. After 3 months of looking into purchasing my own gear, I found it was best for me to buy the pieces separately. I bought a new Mirage, jumpsuit and PD reserve. And a 7 years old cypress, a Sabre2-150 with 40 jumps, and (2) used pro-dytters on it from dz.com. A used Protrack from ebay. I haven’t had any problems. I am only 5’0”. After using student gear to my license, I decided I REALLY wanted a rig that fit. I wanted a new container. But want doesn’t equal need. After looking into it alot. This is what I discovered, I may be wrong. Most people giving advice are guys that weight more then us. They all say "buy a used container, because you are going to down size." But chicks, (well, may be just me) won't down size as fast as guys. So this really didn't make sense to me. Large people start out with large canopies. The change in canopy performance increase as the canopies get smaller. Given this, I bought a container that holds a 150. One day I could but a 135 in it. I don't plan on going below a 135 for several hundred jumps, if ever. So this container will last me a VERY long time. I started out by asking questions at the dropzone and on dz.com. (Both Gravitygirl and AggieDave have been heros. Thank you.) I also sent emails to several manufactures before buying. Some manufactures didn’t email me back. Mirage had the best customer service and I like how their rig looks the most. I bought a G3 and absolutely love it. I think new jumps suit is the best way to go. I originally bought a new Smart reserve because the price was right. After waiting 7 weeks for delivery, Aerodyne informed the gear shop I used it would be a few more weeks. This was totally unacceptable. It was 2pm on Friday and I had been planning to jump the next day with my rig for 2 months. Don of the parachute shop made a phone call and I had a PD reserve at 1 pm on Saturday. (Thank you Don and PD) I only have a few jumps. My feelings may change with experience.

Sorry for the silly question. I used another jumper's tool while learning about packing. What is this tool called? It is used in place of a weight, to provide tension while packing. It consisted of a flat obround metal plate. Velcro was adhered to one side, to grip while packing on carpeting. The plate also had a hole in it, which you could drive a stake through when packing on grass. The tool has a strap that is routed through the leg straps and then buckled.

not drugs

I think what happens is they take out the contents of the package, seal it back up and replace it with a letter stating your stuff was siezed and that you have (3) options. (1) contest and lose (2) have your stuff destroyed or (3) pay to ship it back to sender.

I am out of college and now rarely have friends traveling abroad. Therefore, no one brings me little presents from Europe anymore. What is the best way to avoid having packages seized by US customs? (Nothing illegal, just "prohibited merchandise".) I already know the obvious answer. Keep the dollar value down? Avoid having recipient with a Middle Eastern name? Deliver it to work?
