Well it was my birthday yesterday and i failed my AFF stage 5 and later that night some dude thought it would be fun to punch me in the face a few times at the night club and all i did was walk past him. lifes full of wankers. talk about feeling down and i couldnt even go back to the dropzone today to try the level again cause my face is swollen like hell Life is Great. Sunday i was doing AFF stage 4. after a 6 hour wait for clouds to clear up i finally got the go ahead for the jump. ride up to alti was normal. power off, check in, up, down, ARCH. OUCH this is where the pain started my left shoulder seemed to be killing me i held the box man the best i could to stay stable but i couldnt bring my left arm back past my body the pain was to intense, hell it was painful enough just to keep it out there. got to 5,000 feet after staying as stable as i could to my jumpmaster waved off and pulled. now when i reached up for my risers the pain seemed to go and i could fly my canopy fine with both arms. stand up landing when i got to the ground i moved my arm up past my head and it seemed to pop or something. put some ice on it and went home to bed, next morning i seem to have full movement in it its got a tiny niggling pain. only painfull position i can find is when i try to bring the box man back past my body. I have never had problems with my shoulder before please help =/ Life is Great. Even Greater what we do with it.

Howdy, i have been wanting to try skydiving for a bit now, going to make a move towards it but i know when i start i will want to go all the way. I'am a 18 year old male from melbourne what are some of the decent DZ's around. How much money should i have saved before i start, and roughly what are the ongoing costs. Roughly rig costs but I'am sure you can hire them till you get a bit more into it. Ultimately i think i would want to get into instructing etc. but never know i could get scared outta my wits after first jump but i don't think so i been into extreme sports for a while now.
