This might be able to help some, but I personally think that the best way to learn to pack is hands on instruction. One thing that I can suggest to you is that you talk to your instructors about learning Flat or Braked turns. Low turns can kill, but there is a proper way to turn that you can lose much less altitude. Lots of practice with flat turns up high can help save your life if your near the ground and end up leaving yourself in a situation where you need to turn, be it poor flight plan or getting cut off or whatever. Do talk to your AFFi's or other instructors at your DZ for more information about this stuff. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. The only thing that I can sugest to you is work on your arch on the ground some to remind yourself of the position before you go back, make sure your as relaxed as possible, and try not to wait so long in between jumps. One of the key things that I found was that staying active and being at the DZ every weekend making jumps made me more comfortable, and helped me improve at a decent rate. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. The most interaction that I have had with unions was as a kid working a local grocery store. It was great, we made decent money for being in highschool, and unless we stole from the company, broke a law on the property, or completly (like 100%) disregarded our job duties, they couldn't fire us. Was great, we didn't have to do much to make money. I got bored with it though, and actually put in some work so I could have a better job there, but I will asure you so many people slacked as much as the could, and they did it cause they knew they weren't going to get fired. As for me now, dunno... never had to deal with it, not many strikes around here as of late. Yeah, kinda... Its a newer thing when we are just talking about desktop PCs. Still isn't even very mainstream though. Yeah, a friend of mine got a water cooled case just so it was more quiet. He never overclocked or anything, just got sick of the noise in his room.
