I did see 2 of those moves.... Red October and Beautiful Mind. I didn't say I don't see political movies. I said I try not to. I certainly don't research most of the movies I see, other than a quick review. However, I do like to get feed back from Friends and Family who have seen it. What's funny is, a while back the "Man Show" did a segment on that. THey set up a booth to get people to sign a petition to end Womens Suffrage.... They got hundreds of signatures mainly by women. The reason is .... Though MM's Fareheit 9-11 might be a good movie, I don't like him or his message and therefore will not support him finacially by going to see it. I am wondering if the same is true of the Villiage? I understand it is silly, but I for one have a difficult time supporting propagandists on either side. Now, from the other movies I have seen of M. Night, I really liked them. I loved Signs. It leads me to believe the message is more conservative than liberal, and if it is (I am conservative) I still won't pay $10 to go to the theaters to support him. Clinton passed the Marriage protection act which basically said, No state has to recognize a marriage from another state" So that being the case, law says MO does not have to accept MA's marriages. NH is already dealing with this. Recently a couple from NH got married in MA. They apply for a name change on their passport because they were now married. The state of NH refused their reason for the name change and told them they will have to deal with in the courts. 15% flat tax for anyone making over 20K/year and a 1% national sales tax. No more bogus deductions. It would put almost everyone on an even playing field. The Wealthy would be paying 15% I would be paying 15%. You make more you pay more. Also those corporate bogus deductions would need to go. there is a basic error in this logic. you (much like the UN) assume that the traditional state of war (i.e between countries) applies. what was the main problem with 9/11 ? there was no clear country behind it. so who do you attack back? i don't think Iran will attack Israel directly with WMD , much like SH didnt in 91. there is already a direct supply line between iran and syria and terrorist groups like hezbollah and hamas. who will you strike back at if a chemical/nuke bomb explodes in the middle of tel-aviv, or new-york ? the nuclear standoff doesnt apply anymore. It must be pointed out that FOX and FOXNEWS are owned by the same company, but a good deal of what goes on FOX is criticized by FOXNEWS. Oreilly does it all the time. He hates the programming on FOX. I agree, we are currently having some problems with the CRTC, the Canadian version of the FCC. I don’t know maybe my English is not that well or people don’t follow the whole thread. I am very aware of when Iraq became the bad guy. I am also aware that before he invaded Kuwait. SH was killing his own people, and using chemical weapons on Iran. The reason I was mentioning that was simply to show that at the time Israel attack there nuclear power plant, we the United States did not have a problem with Iraq we were supporting them. My point was why would we support a country that only cares for them self and has no concern for intentional law or the safety of any citizen but it’s own. I am off course talking of Israel. We would bomb the refinery where the oil was going. There is kill and there is overkill. we would not have tried to take over Canada. They have done it entirely too many times. I don’t think it was the focus of their mission as a matter of fact I don’t think they cared enough too even consider it. The mission I am speaking of happened about 6 months ago where 9 children were killed, and at first the Prime minister came out saying the mission was a success regardless of what had happened. Then for fear of international pursuer he said he was sorry that children had been killed. Do I want someone who can be that cold and cruel . to have more killing power.
