Recently a guy working for British Rail may loose his job. Each day this guy used to write a joke on the announcement boards to help the morning travellers raise a smile before herded into cramped boxes on their way to the office. One day he wrote the joke: Did you hear about the dyslexic who went to a toga party? He went dressed as a goat........... This apparently is rather offensive and could loose this man his job. This also comes in a week where the term "nit-picking" is banned as an offensive word as it may offend ethnic minorities, and "nitty Gritty" was banned by the Police for the same reason. Brain Storming is also seen as offensive to mentally ill people. Is the UK going mad with PC? What the fuck is happening to the UK where once we had people exploring the world but now school trips are cancelled because of the fear of litigation? Or village fetes are required to produce detailed risk analysis reports to the insurers for the punch and judy shows.......... what the fuck has happened to the UK recently? Did I miss something? Any other examples of complete madness?

has everyone got the newest versions of Firefox / Mozilla? as there were some security issues with some of the releases.

i initially went to firefox, but for some reason i prefer the standard Mozilla 1.7.2 browser. not sure why though!

just curious, if any of you have had injuries that have put you out of normal living for a while - how this affected your (non-jumping) partners...... did your relationships suffer?

true, young ones rock - sadly I have watched them so much I can practically tell you which series and episode a line comes from....... I should get out more.......... Unfortunatly for some reason UK Gold only normally shows the crap ones......... daytime TV 24/7 is enough to drive anyone over the edge espeically when you are awake from 4am onward.......... luckily discovery channels show some decent stuff.......... Oh well, I have had 4 months of it so far with another possible 2 months ahead - you would think I would get used to it......... M PS) my pleasure............

Alot of people move away from their old lives when they start jumping as Skydiving takes up alot of time, focus and effort at first. Just dont be arrogant and think you are something special just because you parachute or "only talk about jumping" - and you will find that people not in the sport will still be friends. If its all you become then you will be a bore to those around you that dont jump.

in your draws line them with bin liners and either a) fill it with water and some small fish or b) fill them with jelly, and let it set with all your pens etc in it.

There I am in hospital not really wishing to move as I have had a bone graft operation 3 days previous - a present is delivered and is brought in to me by my morning nurse, it appears a friend has decided to cheer me up and send me a nice thoughtful present in my time of recovery. how about clipping a round reserve to the front of your BASE container?! Anyone done this in the UK?
