    We have been having age debates over the past few weeks and wanted to get some feedback: The theory (source unknown) is take your age, divide by 2 and add 7 years and you have the youngest age you should go. What has your biggest age gap been either way, and what were the pro's and con's of the relationship?     Hey guys, I am looking for info on anyone that has jumped a tandem passenger that has previously had a broken neck. I have been asked by a girl that broke C7 in a car accident. The repairs went well and she is healthy and fixed, but would love to do a skydive. She has voiced concerns on the jerk of the opening and possible injuries that can incur from that and a hard landing. I know we normally use a soft neck brace for older (85-95 year old) people that we have jumped. I am looking for constructive input to take back to her for her to make the decision.     In SA they only run one course a year. I did my rating in December and only 2 of the 5 candidates passed. Not easy at all. Can't comment on the USPA system though. I think true friendship is under-rated Twitter: @Dreamskygirlsa

    Hey, I am an instructor in both SL and AFF. If you really want to Skydive and continue, then I would recommend the AFF route if you can afford it. The progression and learning curve is steeper.     Maybe you can put something very sticky or something that will discolour the perps hands if they touch your window and get some itchy powder or poisen ivy and put it in amongst the plants. They will not be so keen to get itchy. Maybe plant boobie traps so that they get plainted/sprayed etc when they are there and dislodge something. And make sure you get everything on camera! If it is just ba peeper they will know you know. If a burglar, you will know for sure that it was them on camera and discoloured hands etc...
