Incident statistics for varying disciplines
Hazarrd replied to reynolds's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I don't think compiling incidents into categories of disciplines would provide anything useful to our community. Are you really going to choose a different discipline because of differing incident rates? Besides, most people are aware of the increased dangers posed by the various disciplines. .-. -
Ordered my micron the other day. Thanks for all the input. Anyone have a PD143 reserve to sell me? .-.

I'm trying to unscrew the d-bag from the the main canopy but the metal won't twist. Attached is a picture. Is there something I can do to get it started? I tried a wrench but its just too small. Thanks. .-.

I'm looking for a rigger who is close to Boston (more specifically, Allston). Anyone out there? Bueller? Anyone? .-.

Looking to get a new container and have narrowed it down to either a wings or micron. ive read threads on both of them and from what i gather.... wings - extremely comfortable (not sure if more so than the micron..??), less expensive than micron, nicer looking (my opinion). micron - solid rig, skyhook a plus. if the skyhook is the only added benefit of the v3/micron, then im not too sure i would spend the extra money. i dont want to get into the skyhook discussion but i would like more input on both rigs. specifically, i cant seem to find anything on the forums that would steer me away from the v3/micron besides price. anyone have any complaints? on the same token, i didnt really find anything significantly bad about the wings except for some old posts about riser flaps, but from the people ive spoken to, thats not a problem. thanks in advance for the replies. oh and if you want to post a pic of your wings or micron, i wouldnt mind seeing some for my color selection. .-.

WFFC, where do you leave your stuff while you jump?
Hazarrd replied to Hazarrd's topic in Events & Places to Jump
well, I can't imagine that cars can park closee enough to the boarding area where I'll want my second rig to be, but thanks for the advice. if i'm going to be paying a packer all day, I assume I could just leave my stuff by them? .-. -

WFFC, where do you leave your stuff while you jump?
Hazarrd replied to Hazarrd's topic in Events & Places to Jump
So when you are in the air, where do YOU leave your stuff? I've got a second rig, along with my wallet and other things, and obviously want to leave them some place safe when I'm jumping. I've never been out to Rantoul so I have no clue what the setup is like. Thanks. .-. -

Strategic Misrepresentation strategy of the current admin
Hazarrd replied to base283's topic in Speakers Corner
why do you guys even argue over united states politics. the harder you push, the harder they push back. there's no point. A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still. .-. -
yea id agree with that one... .-.
