So back to my question. Both computers have Windows XP Pro. Anyone have any experience getting them to talk to each other. And stop Fing with me. I used to be a UNIX Sys. Oh if only I had time to fish! I have a full time job 40+ hrs and week. I also own a gear store and have a 3 year old. My husband is a pilot, so I'm on my own a good percentage of the time. Both machines are WinXP. I have created a Domain and Workgroup on both computers. I have pulled all the "Share" files into the Shared folders. The hardware is connected properly. The second machine just keep telling me that "Permission is Denied!" So I must have to set the permission somewhere!?!?! If you're looking to improve your skills, the camp is the way to go. Boogies are great, but they are lots of them, and they are usually there every year. At Byron where the wind is usually predominant? If the wind is too high for them to jump a 190, then it is too high to jump, period. Not to say that they will not quickly downsize. But during that learning curve of reaching, flaring too high, flaring too low, ground fixation. Yes. 190. Think. When the winds are marginal (14mph), student very commonly will get a side gust on landing and reach with the hand that is closest to the ground. They don't have that "counter-steer" instinct yet. With my experience as an instructor at a windy drop zone I feel it is better to have a bigger canopy and get little penetration, than to have a smaller canopy and slam into the ground when a student fails to hold it into the wind properly. They weren't so bad actually. After a while you just kinda got used to it. The funniest part was the tandems. We had about 40 out there. A couple of groups of young kids (Early 20s). They all thought they were so cool coming to SKYDIVE! THen there were all these men running around in Speedos and Black socks. It was funny as hell! But I have to say, I did have to run around offering emotional counsil to several groups of tandems. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
