    I wasn't putting PISA down for making low cost canopies. Just offering my opinion based on personal and professional experience. I have had more complaints on Hornets than on the original Sabre. I still sell Hornets on the used gear market. I am not saying it's a BAD canopy. Just not my favorite. As far as the marketing, there were certain dealers that would market the Hornet as a Sabre at half the price.     I wouldn't put the Hornet in the same class as the Pilot or Sabre2. It was marketed as an inexpensive alternative to the orginal Sabre. I have received a lot of customer feedback indicating hard openings. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

    Find out the size of the harness on the Icon. Take your measurements using the measuring guide at www.aerodyne-int.com. This will help you determine the fit before you buy.     There are limits to advertising dollars you can write off. The logo on the canopy would only be helpfull if you are jumping into a public place as a form of advertising. However, you may be better off with any old canopy, some stills of you/it, and use the photos to make brocheurs and flyers. But that is a stretch. But you'll have to check www.irs.gov to find out what your limitations are. Lettering on canopies is quite expensive. You will have to buy a new main and the custom print will set you back as much as the canopy itself.     You'll be hard pressed to find quality modern used gear (with an AAD) for under 2K. Unless someone is desparate for cash or has money to burn and just bought new gear. The price range for something modern and in good condition with a cypres is $3k to $4k. Once in a while those smokin' deals come along, but they are far and few between. There are rigs out there in the price range you mentioned, but chances are there will be maintenance due. Just my two cents. As far as good used gear, there are many good options. Don't get stuck on one brand. Just look for appropriate sizing of canopies and container. Condition of gear.     Or measure from the hole in your throat (center of clavicle), to the top of your hip bone. That should be "about" the length of you harness. C should fit average to broad shoulder male. If you have a super thick neck, you'll need a "D". This is all ball park. If you want to get specific, download a Jav order form at www.Sunpath.com and take your measurements.
