  1. Correction Ed. Byron is $20 to 14K ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  2. She loved it! She was a little concerned that Santa would be in trouble for tracking dirt in the house. I explained it was my fault for not cleaning the fireplace. It truely does need a good cleaning before anything sparks in there! Santa brought her an easy bake oven.... and forgot the 100 wat bulb that it needs. She also got a new baby doll as a replacement for one she left in the movie theater this week. She was devastated. She had already bought presents for her dolly. She got really excited when she opened the replacement. Merry Christmas all.... and to all a good nitgh. Mmmmm. Brandy..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  3. I wrote the note with REALLY curly handwritting. Hopefully she is not a handwritting analysis in waiting. The boot prints were my husbands idea. I had fun doing it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  4. My daughter is 4 and a half. She'll be 5 in March. She went to bed a few hours ago soooo excited. So do you think this little extra touch will freak her out? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  5. 18" seems to be the sweet spot. They should suit you well. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  6. Our most popular selling OTG Goggles are the Flex-Zs. Sorry they are not listed on our web site. Otherwise, you may want to consider getting some perscription goggles at some point. They will be lower profile. The Wiley-X work well for that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  7. The low profile D-Ring by Wings is big enough to allow your thumb to get in there, but substantially lower profile than the traditional one. It's a great altermative to the pillot. Since it's stiff, it's a bit harder to get tucked under as well. Preference. But worth a try. They are very cost effective, so you can try it and if you don't like the feel, it can be your backup handle.... just in case you chuck one! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  8. Uh hem! I'm taking your present back you bad little boy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  9. I carry a nylon cap in the store that sells for $4. They're not on my web site, but I guess I could update that. The other day I felt my pig tail dancing with my riser on opening. Reminer that my hair is getting long again. Time to tuck that stuff away. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  10. Yes. It is possible that it will be loose. But it greatly depends on the manufacturer. Some manufactures have different size yokes. (Over the shoulders). Most have different size side laterals. Being 6' and 143 lbs, you'll likely find a better fit from someone of average build and a couple few inches shorter. If you let me know what size and brand harness container you are looking at, and provide me with some measurements from yourself, I can help you determine fit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! 11. The phone company is introducing Jet! That's my daughter! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  12. 1 hour and 15 minutes from SMF (Sac Airport) to Bay Area Skydiving.... .... not that I have ever done that drive.... .... every freeeking week for almost a year!!!!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  13. I'm wearing a g-string. Can I just rotate them? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  14. Byron is not too far either. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  15. And she is fucking you, me, and every other person that makes a living from skydiving in the process. If her appearance on every news station in the country reduces the overall student turn out, she's done us all a dis-service. I'll do one less tnadem, you'll sell one less t-shirt, the DZO will fly one less load. Everyone hurts because she can't deal with her own problems. I didn't see her appealing to jumpers to help her out first. That's because she didn't think and doesn't care. How the hell do you know that she didn't think and doesn't care? And do you honestly think that this will "hurt" the sport? Tandem inquiries actually go up after they see carnage on TV. Sick but true. Besides. Skydiving IS a dangerous sport. It has severe consequences. Period. Do you want to keep that a secret from the public? Do you think that will "help" the sport. "It's as safe as driving a car. Yadda, yadda, yadda." Shayna didn't fuck me. In fact. I think I'll send her a T-shirt. And maybe offer her some kindly advise. See how she is feeling. Find out where she is coming from. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  16. This poll is leaving out one very big variable. The skydivers that likely don't have insurance, likely don't have a computer either, and/or don't spend a lot of time surfing the web or on dz.com. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  17. I'm sorry. Where in Shaynas post did she say that she didn't have insurance? Ya'll are assuming she doesn't and then going on a rampage about it. Pretty sad. Your assumption is likely correct. But still it's just an assumption. As for casting stones. As an ALMOST 40 year old woman and mother, I would be a idiot to jump without insurance. But if I look back to when I was a young girl in my 20s..... I was invincible. I made so many poor choices with my health and risk taking that I now find it mind boggling! To the best of my knowledge, I got away with it. I lived. I learned. I know better now. I am completely aware of my mortality. Guess what. Shayna didn't get away with it. She lived. She learned. Her lesson is pretty severe. It is what it is. Now she is looking for a solution to get her out of her current jam. If you are still here, I would suggest getting ahold of the producers of Extreme Makeover. It's not like your story could be any more "out there" than it is. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  18. First of all, crank down that chest strap and leg straps if you are going to try freeflying. Also, it looks like your rigger might be able to smooth out that pack job to take some bulk out of the top and put more in the center/bottom. That will put more pressure at the closing flap and less in that shoulder area that is buldging a bit. Also, I would recommend calling the manufacturer if that doesn't sort it out. Wings has amazing customer service. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  19. Jett is asking me what is sticking out of your ear in pic #1. LOL. Then she asked if you have a cutaway system for that leg mount? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  20. As for the arm grips: If you weight tends to fluxuate or you work out a lot with your upper body, the regular spandex is more comfortable as it allows for some growth. If you are planning serious RW. Turning points, doing blocks, then go for the Majik grips. When you are gripped and flying aggressivly, it allows more positive motion and less wear because you are not pulling on spandex. All of Bev's booties are good. If you are doing serious RW with lots of leg turns, then the Mega booties offer an little edge in that department. Coolmax lining is good if you are creaping the skydive in your jumpsuit on hot days. Being small should not be a factor for the Mega Bootie. The regular booties should be good for you also. For big ways, you never know who will be gripping you. I would go for standard grips. Personally, I have small hands and I would rather hold on to a standard grip than a fatty daddy. All in all. From what you have written I would say the comp suit would suit you. Consider the Cool Max lining if you live in a hot climate. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  21. Sounds like your current job offers many great benefits. Abusing that will only make it go away in the future for fellow employees. My vote is be honest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  22. Hmmm. May as well stay home and play a video game about skydiving. I don't want to stare at a screen. The reason I skydive is to feel alive with all of my senses alert. Looking around from a birds vantage point of view! Besides. Electronics malfunction. I would hate to have a computer tell me line over when I have a horse shoe! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  23. He may have been filming himself or something... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  24. I fractured my sacrum clean through and left a gap. Plus 4 fractures to my pubic bone. I'm pretty sure the sacrum was the worst break. I was imobilized for two weeks and spent a total of 28 days in the hospital. I worked with a physical therapist for another month after that. I was in the air after 3 months. But I was told to wait at least 6. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  25. Hey Samuel! Your face looks good with my tongue on it. Congrats. You're rockin' the skys over Byron. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
