    I think that pretty much everyone recognizes that. For many, that trait doesn't matter if they see him "moving the country in the right direction." Heck, you could find 33 Republicans in the Senate that would agree with that statement, but they wouldn't be signing a list about it.

    Pretty interesting the slant foxnews.com has on Flynn -- two article links saying the leaks are the issue, and one say that Mattis downplays the impact of Flynn's resignation, and one about the Russian officials defend Flynn. How about the crime? Nothing. Meanwhile, it is being reported that several campaign aides were in touch with Russian officials known to the CIA during the entire campaign.

    30 years ago, I had a potential customer from Israel. When he whipped out his calendar to discuss the project schedule, I commented that if we too had a calendar that ran backwards, we could meet the deadline.

    Those are 2012 year numbers. They paid $24b in '13, $18b in '14, $5.4b in '15. The end of '16 isn't reported yet, but looks to be heading for maybe about $1b, with negative taxes in two of the past 4 quarters.

    Not sure where you come up with that number, and maybe it is correct, but I find that over the past 12 months XOM has paid closer to $0.8 billion in corporate income taxes.

    Fuck that. Throw a big tri tip on the bbq with oak, mesquite and hickory chips. Lazy bastards don't know real cooking anymore. I mostly make use of my Gaggenau combi (steam plus convection) oven. Adding humidity to the cooking chamber makes things cook faster, especially meats since they are not being cooled by their own evaporation. Ever notice how meat temperature rises very slowly, then quite a bit faster as it gets done? More of a linear rise with a combi oven, or in sous vide. Also keeps them as moist as you like, and puts a nice crust on either meat or bread.
