  1. IIRC, GA voters were not allowed to vote in the Primary runoff, unless they had voted in (or maybe just registered prior to ?) the Primary. I don't see anything to that effect for the case of this Senate runoff. You can bet that these Senate runoffs will get the highest voter turnout in recent Georgia history, if it does come down whether the R's will retain the majority.
  2. Maybe there will be faithless electors, as there were in 2016.
  3. I don't know, but I suspect that the Governor can appoint temporary Senators pending the next election result. One of the runoff candidates is already a temporary appointment. He would likely appoint those currently in office.
  4. Covid restrictions on group size:
  5. Looks highly likely that PA is going to Biden. He may not end up with much of a lead, maybe 20k vote or a bit better. I'm heading to bed early -- ski pass requires reservations to ski this season (covid restrictions), so I need to be at my computer before 6am, when the reservations window opens. I've heard that they have sold more season passes than usual this year, maybe because only pass holders can reserve ahead before December 8, so getting Christmas week may be iffy.
  6. Just a photo of Trump nearing exit: And another photo of Trump:
  7. I'd like to see statistics on what percentage of R and D voters actually voted. I think that fear may have driven the R's to show up, more than ending crazy drove the D's to show up.
  8. From 538: "Two more batches of Pennsylvania vote were reported: -23,277 votes in Philadelphia, all for Biden -about 5,300 votes in Luzerne County, nearly 4,000 of which were for Biden. This one batch of votes in Philadelphia has been picked up by some people, including a commentator on Fox News, as possible evidence of fraud. It’s not. According to Edison Research, which aggregates vote data for ABC News and other networks (and is the source of the data in question), sometimes election officials and vote aggregators unintentionally enter vote updates one candidate at a time, rather than entering all candidates together. Other candidates’ votes are then included in a subsequent batch. That appears to be what happened here, and in the next update from Philadelphia, Trump got about double the share of votes that he was getting in the other updates from there during that stretch of time." So, all of your points have now been explained/refuted.
  9. They are, and they know that they are baseless. It is so that they can play the victim later, when the Deep State courts rule against them. I'll call it for you, so you can get back to doing other things. GA, PA for Biden. NC, AK for Trump. Even if all goes Trump, it will have no effect on the election outcome. ??? Trump won AZ last time. If he does this time, that wouldn't be a flip. True, just not as slim as when you posted this.
  10. The Biden lead is decreasing in Arizona. He lost 10k votes with the last 70k update in Maricopa county. They still have 4x that number of votes to count in that county , and they are supposedly the main blue county. Word is that the most recent mail in ballot requests, and the day of election drop-off ballots, were more R than D. I expect the margin will decrease to 10-20k votes in AZ, maybe tighter.
  11. Pretty funny that Fox News called Arizona for Biden hours ago, but others are waiting. I can just see Trump's orange face turning red.
  12. "Decides on Colorado joining the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which would give the state’s nine electoral votes to the presidential candidate who wins the national popular vote if states representing at least 270 Electoral College votes adopt the compact." I hope that the actual language reflects at least half (not just 270), in case number of reps changes (e.g., when PR becomes a state).
  13. Of course, but the "power grab" was when the R's refused to hold hearings on the Garland nomination (10 months before the election) because "let the people decide," and then were fine with holding hearings 2 weeks ahead of this election.
  14. Except it looks like Biden will win.
  15. Mayor Pete showing how to treat Trump supporters at a Dem rally.
  16. I think that there will be a huge turnout on Election Day, and a lot of Voters will be frustrated by the long lines and either decide not to vote or not be able to vote.
  17. Here's one of those tapes Lindsey wants us to hold:
  18. Twenty-two states do not require that mail-in ballots arrive by election day -- they just have to be postmarked by then. Washington state is the latest, with ballots arriving 20 days after the election day being included for overseas and military voters (5 days for others). CA is 17 days for all mail-in ballots. They will be done counting when they are done. I don't see any absolute need to finish counting earlier than a couple of days before the electoral college representatives vote in their respective states, on December 14.
  19. Better be careful, covid is wiping out the mink farms, weasels are probably susceptible.
  20. Actually, defending him from a defamation lawsuit. Which, of course, the DOJ should not be involved in.
  21. Yes, I can see your hypocrisy.
