Sasse voted against calling witnesses in the impeachment trial. He aided and abetted.

But was he wearing a mask? Not social distancing

At least the fly kept to its allocated 2 minutes.

The town hall audience was supposed to comprise undecided voters. In case you are wondering about the "undecided voter" behind Trump repeatedly nodding her head in agreement with Trump, she is a well known Miami pro-Trump activist. She ran for Congress (as an independent) with a Trump supporter stance. She has posted a video clip of her enthusing to Trump after the debate. I guess she was just undecided whether to vote for him one time or two.

Yep, it's like someone's crazy uncle.

Here it is:

They are doing a bit better than the US, but much worse than their immediate neighbors (Norway, Finland, Denmark).

So, Barrett cannot even answer a softball question from an R Senator (meant to be trivially easy) about the freedoms guaranteed in the 1st amendment. She is unqualified, independent of how she would rule on various topics. It is the highest court in the land, ruling on Constitutional matters. She is not qualified.

Odd, I cannot find any coverage of this outcome on foxnews.com, after they declared it to be the "biggest abuse of power, corruption scandal" the country had ever seen.

She had a type of blood cancer which means she no longer had a properly functioning immune system. There have been a couple of other documented re-infection cases, but IIRC they survived.

So she was the sister's hand maiden ?

Would that have been both for the 18th and 21st amendments?

Must be easy to get on the Colorado ballot. We only have 6 combos to vote for in California. Interesting that you have Kanye West as a Presidential candidate, and we have him as a VP candidate under Rocky (and not the same party affiliation as in CO).

In "news" that is totally expected, Trump cries in a corner and the 2nd debate is cancelled.
-
He is not capable of debating, so cannot be in a setup where that is pretty much all he can do.

"I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you."

If the doc tells you that you have better than 95% of a good outcome for your experimental surgery, I doubt that you are thinking 99%.

Somebody can't do %.

The FLOTUS gets stuck with various "duties", one of which is the Christmas decorations for the White House. I wouldn't be any more interested in getting stuck with that task than she seems to be, so she can have a pass on complaining about it, as well as the Rose Garden renovation.

Yes, hence higher inertia.

Hope Hicks has Covid. CDC rules are that Trump should quarantine

Then Pelosi takes over until January 20th. She's capable. -
Another case of where the politicians do not follow the will of the people. Of course, one could cast that as "leadership." Catholics as a whole are 2:1 against overturning RvW. Other groups are even higher.

Conveniently, he can now skip the debates. Undecided voters had him losing the first one 2:1. In the bizarre electorate we have, this may actually get him sympathy votes. He's not in the greatest shape, but recent data indicates obesity by itself not to be as serious of a comorbidity as it was earlier thought to be. He obviously stumbles (physically and verbally) more than he did 4 years ago, so there may be some serious comorbidity there, but he isn't diabetic, has normal blood pressure. He takes statins, which inhibit inflammation and can result in less severe SARS-Cov2 symptoms. He takes finasteride for the hair growth, which is an ACE2 inhibitor, which have been shown to decrease the number of cell "docking sites" available for coronavirus attachment (side effects include erection problems, mood swings, decreased libido). In May, he said that he is taking hydroxychloroquine; despite earlier mixed results, there was a good study of 8000+ people about 6 weeks ago that showed something like 30% lower requirement for going to intensive care, and significantly lower death rate, by using hydroxy. He's never smoked, so I don't have any reason to think that his lungs are particularly compromised. He takes doxycycline for rosacea, which has both anti-viral properties and anti-inflammatory ones which help prevent a "cytokine storm." So, he takes a lot of drugs for various reasons, each of which can reduced SARS-Cov2 severity. I expect Melania to recover "beautifully."
