Well, Tina Fey is busy elsewhere anyway, so she couldn't have continued doing the SNL bits forever.

That's one of the things we like about you...elitist in attitude, but not afraid to get the spelling wrong when you feel like it.
-
True, but is was founded and defined by just those elitists.

Okay, now I sorta know who she is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWPY7b35vF4

Giving up so soon?

I'm seeing a huge Bradley effect. Moreso in more heavily red (polled) states. The difference in Virginia between exit polls and actual results (41% reporting) is HUGE.

realclearpolitics.com is now either down, or just so swamped that it is effectively down.

It is only okay if you were pretty stoned at the time, and even then only marginally okay.

Click on it, and click through the next level. Gotta raise some revenue around here. All the better, if it costs "yes on 8."

Now we have Black Panthers at the polls!

I'm talking about the guy with the stick. The guy without the stick is a poll monitor, and the owner of the building. http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/cityhall/New_Black_Panther_Party_Guarding_Fairmount_Ave_Polling_Place.html -
Wow, must be tough to get a quorum, unless other more "interesting" things are in the same election.

Just an example of some idiot, who will effect results the opposite he desires. -
??? It only takes one voter, total, and I doubt that you've seen a turnout quite that low.

I thought maybe you'd go for one of those grey wigs that the Brit lawyers wear in court.

Yes, last week by mail. No polling place for where I live. I'm not usually that organized -- I usually drop off my ballot at a polling place on the day. Yawn, wake me up next week when the recount is over!
-
I don't, but I don't know who she is.

It is certainly raining GOP bullshit tonight, via mail and mostly via television. The satirical "political ads" on Leno and Letterman cannot even compete with the ludicrous BS raining forth. Doesn't anyone care that McCain fathered a black love child?

He'll name Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton co-ambassadors to Kiribati, to renew their supply of guano.

To me, it seems that solar makes the most sense when installed locally (rooftop), so that you don't lose half of the energy in distribution.
-
This thread is as idiotic as when people used to talk about how "stiff" Gore is.
-
Amen, John. If someone isn't willing to spend the time to understand positions and issues, they shouldn't vote. I'm not willing to do that on some local issues, such as school boards, so I rarely vote those issues. Others, I spend WAY too much time educating myself on.

I can feel your pain.

I guess I'll have to move to a red state. A lot of the wealth redistribution is from the blue states to the red states.
